Darker 1,351 September 20, 2014 Share September 20, 2014 (edited) There's a spider fan club, so why not this? Let's start... The Crocodiles. These are the bosses of the animal kingdom. They're capable of killing nearly every animal on the planet, prey or predator, with a single bite. They've been like that since they were predators of lots of dinosaurs in the past. Any fans of the oldest reptiles on the planet? lelouch. 625 September 20, 2014 Share September 20, 2014 Cant say im a fan, but i think they're cool. Especially because of how unlike most reptiles, the mother really cares for its young. And their lunges at their prey.

Darker 1,351 September 20, 2014 Author Share September 20, 2014 my mind has been updated Crocs have little holes in their snouts, they help them to detect any movement in the water. Even if a crocodile was swimming miles away, it could detect any animal touching the surface of the river/lake/sea. These holes have evolved into other reptiles, and even dinosaurs, such as the famous Spinosaurus and other spinosaurids, who used these holes to hunt fish underwater. 2 Overlord of Darkness Signature made by: Astral Blitzen http://mlpforums.com/user/24786-astral-blitzen/

(Btw sharks use electric fields to detect prey, that too is awesome ) Indeed, sharks are as much as complex as crocodiles, it's weird how this two creatures are so different, yet so similar, including the fact that both have been honored as two of the most fierce predators in history, and even there is a mythological and historical rivalry between both sharks and crocodiles. That is way too awesome. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4116/4863060821_7a21f032a4_z.jpg This is one of many Surabaya's statues. Surabaya is the second largest indonesian city, and it's for many known as the city of heroes. More information about that in the not so trustworthy Wikipedia. The name of the city is literally the combination between the two animals, shark (suro) and crocodile (baya). Wikipedia says: "...In a local myth, [they] fought each other in order to gain the title of "the strongest and most powerful animal" in the area according to a Jayabaya prophecy. This prophecy tells of a fight between a giant white shark and a giant white crocodile, which sometimes interpreted as a conflict between Mongol forces and Raden Wijaya's Majapahit forces." Darker 1,351 September 20, 2014 Author Share September 20, 2014 (edited) thank you so much my mind stores info like this, so this is really helpful. Is sura and baya in the indonesian language? And sharks are immune to all diseases, are crocodiles the same? I think they must be, because they have been called the most perfect predetors i think Yeah, Sura and Baya are indonesian for shark and crocodile. And no, while sharks are immune to most diseases, they can get colds if they go to much colder waters. This is way they don't go to the North or South Poles. The wáter is too cold for them. Bigger animals like Killer Whales can resist it. For crocodiles is the same. Altough crocodiles have a very amazing defensive mecanism in their blood, which helps them eliminate any kind of venom they've been injured with. This is why most snakes don't try to fight any kind of crocodile, because crocodiles have great speed, reflexes, strength and much more intelligence tan you would imagine. Still, crocodiles aren't immune either to most diseases, as there are lots of parts in their body unprotected. And even though they're both perfect in their own ways, they are defenseless against bigger or more agile animals The crocodile is able to lose against a pack of lions, or even tigers (even though tigers are tough bastards) and the shark can get flipped upside up by a Killer Whale or another shark and instantly fall sleep. The same happens if you punch or squeeze the shark's nose. The shark loses concentration and becomes defenseless to any other animal. Still, both animals have very little to no flaws. They are impressive giants who stand up above every single other creature and are more advanced tan most things they live with. Handsome Changeling 1,851 September 20, 2014 Share September 20, 2014 (edited) Well, well I was just talking to my Step Dad about how when I move out my house I am DIYing a Alligator tank and buying a young Dwarf Caiman. I love all reptiles and the Ancient Reptiles are the best but for an awesome Crocodilian then go look up the Gharial as it looks cool as hell. Also look up the Blue eyed Albino Crocodile, they are beautiful. Their bites are made just to hunt fish. Also, I agree, albino crocs are adorable. New question: Do you know any famous giant crocodilians? Darker 1,351 September 21, 2014 Author Share September 21, 2014 For the 'record', this is what i found on google images. Yeah, the Nile Crocodile. Even then, the largest species alive is the Saltwater "Saltie" Crocodile. The most powerful biter in the planet. "Crikey! There are wild ones out there!" ~ Steve Irwin. A fan club for crocodiles? Count me in! (Can you point me to the spider club, by the way?) How about Gustave? The oversized nile crocodile who allegedly had killed 300 (SPARTA!) men? YEAAAH!! Gustave kicked a Hippo's ass. That croc rocks. I wonder where this bad-ass is now. Probably in Gotham wrecking Batman or in Canada breaking Wolverine in half. That's how much of a bad-ass Gustave is. 1 Overlord of Darkness Signature made by: Astral Blitzen http://mlpforums.com/user/24786-astral-blitzen/
