Arctofire 227 January 22, 2015 Share January 22, 2015 Okay so I'm British, but all my life I have wanted to move to america. Now I looked at the ways to immigrate and my most likely bet is employment, but how do I get to that position. So I'm currently doing my GSCE's but I have started to think about this, and I hope to do a study exchange with an american uni as not only will that be cheaper that going full time there, but will also make me more likely to be employed by an american company. But what else do I need to know. What jobs can I do? How do I convince my boss to transfer me over there? And how do I get a green card?

Tanos 179 January 22, 2015 Share January 22, 2015 I think a really good way could be to come for a graduate school or college to get a student visa and then you could probably have an eaisier time finding a job to get a green card. I don't know exactly if that is effective to emigrate, but I do know that some sort of college study can allow you to stay in the US for a few years since I know two french students that are living at my french teacher's house and attending a community college. Hope it works out!
