The Interpretation Creation Challenge #2

Hello everybody and welcome to Challenge #2 of...

The Interpretation Creation Challenge :D

The first challenge did provide the result I was hoping for. The result being someone taking the prompts and creating an interesting and very cool character, even if it was just one submission. It might not seem like something that would motivate most people to continue, but apparently it works for me so let's get started  :derp:

For those who are new to this challenge, let me explain ;)

--------------------

What's the setup?

I'm going to give you a list of personality traits, talents, and other various things.
What you need to do is craft an OC around these.

Why?

This is a bit of an experiment to see what various outcomes can come from a single source of information. This tests the creativity and diversity among those who enter.

And it's just fun!

How do I enter?

1. Read the provided traits/prompts.
2. Create an OC.
3. Comment here with your creation, including:

The OC's Name
The OC's Cutie Mark
Description of His/Her Personality
A Picture(Optional)
Additional Info/Backstory(Optional)

What are the rules?

1. You have to use the prompts from the list. You can't just submit a random unrelated OC.
2. You can't use an already existing OC. You need to start from scratch.
3. You can add additional traits if you want.
4: A picture isn't required, though it is preferred. Also, if using a picture, it doesn't need to be "show quality". Make it in whatever style you like(paper drawing, computer sketch, vector, etc.). If you don't include a picture, try to describe what the OC looks like.
5. While backstory isn't required, it is preferred and encouraged. It brings life to your character and makes him/her much more interesting and more likely to be chosen.
6. Your submission can be as simple or complex as you desire.
7. Have fun! :muffins:

In each challenge there are 5 winners and 5 honorable mentions(or less depending on how many people participate).

There are no actual prizes, other than...well, winning. This is just a fun little challenge for people to test their creativity. :derp:

--------------------

NOW, IT IS TIME FOR THE CHALLENGE!

Here is what you have to work with:

Traits

Sweet
Empathetic
Caring
Clever

Talents

Story Writing
Song Writing
Creating Characters

Age

18

Gender

Female

--------------------

And there we go! Take these and create your character!

Now as for your time limit, I'm making it a bit shorter than Challenge #1. I'm giving you one week instead of two, this goes for proceeding challenges as well. Two weeks just seems like a bit too much to me, especially since the task at hand really shouldn't take THAT long.

You have until February 5th to submit a character. Good luck! I'm excited to see what you come up with ;)

Hmm... I hope a little twist on the traits and talents won't pull me too far off the mark. And if it does, well it'll leave a weak spot for another player to come in and steal the crown!

Anyway, here's my character submission.

Name: Cookie Cutter

Born to a sweets selling couple, she's worked in the family shop since she was a child. But all that time baking and helping her folks, she was always trying to get away from her boring life by daydreaming about fantastic stories of adventure and action. Once she finally told the stories to her friends however, she found out that they were... well, extraordinarily clichéd. She'd never exactly had much in the way of reading material as a kid, and always liked the simple, time-worn stories, which in turn caused her own stories to be the same ones pretty much everyone had heard a hundred times before.

Rather than verse herself on writing or take classes on being a writer, she simply tried harder to come up with something more complex. So the second time around she makes another story, and rather than the characters being simple tools to move the simple story forward, they all now have simple personalities and motives. While a step up from her previous work, the characters were still flat as cardboard, and the whole thing was again said to be too clichéd.

Now she's 18, finally out of high school and hoping to leave her parents' shop to become a real writer. She's made a lot of progress since her childhood, always improving and trying new things, but somehow every story she writes, every character she builds, even the songs she writes, have all been done before. It's almost like she's moving up through the decades, reinventing the wheel with each new subversion and twist in her stories that have only been done a million times, ten years after the last cliché was popular. At this rate she might just make something new and become a writer, if she can only get past writing scores of cookie-cutter clichés!
