Think ponies as mascots for an Olympic event would be a good idea?

There was a thread about ponies in the Super Bowl on another MLP centered forum, and it brought up the idea of having ponies as Olympic mascots. Since ponies are mainly represent friendship, they could be about friendship through competition in the Olympics. There could be an earth pony, a unicorn, and a Pegasus, dunno what their cutie marks would be though. Since the 2020 Olympics don't have a mascot yet, think it'd be the perfect time for ponies to make Olympic mascots?

I don't think that it's a good idea to make the mascots of the Olympics ponies. Many non-bronies enjoys watching the Olympics and we would be forcing the show down their throat if they actually made ponies the Olympic mascots.
