jmarsh 50 February 6, 2015 Share February 6, 2015 Hello Everypony, I'm pretty excited, I just purchased my ticket for BronyCon 2015 in Maryland. This is going to be my first fan convention ever. I wanted to go to Comic-Con when I lived in San Diego but that didn't happen. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? Things to expect that surprised you when you first went? 1 "We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospection." Anais Nin "Art is the only way to run away without leaving home." Darius 70 February 6, 2015 Share February 6, 2015 I was surprised actually by how friendly and nice people were, I was a little apprehensive going with my GF originally but I relaxed almost immediately, just be yourself and you will be fine, some fans are a little more.... over the top than others but it's all good 1 ''Rembmer: The average is as close too the bottom as it is the top''
jmarsh 50 February 6, 2015 Author Share February 6, 2015 I appreciate all different types of fans. I think the world, and the convention, would be a dull place if some people weren't a bit more "over the top." Are you planning to go to another Brony event in the near future? CC_Maud_Pie 6,431 February 9, 2015 Share February 9, 2015 I haven't been to BronyCon but I've been to a convention before (not a brony one). My advice is to expect some complements on what you're wearing and bring enough money if you're planning on buying merchandise. And don't forget to have fun. BTW, what will you be wearing there? All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention. I believe that someone should become a person like other people.
