My new intro for my vids(give your honest opinion)

So i've decided to use a quick intro for my vids on my dbz channel, Dizzy Dave. I will only implement it if you guys think its needed. So what i have done is used a looping background image and my username on it , sped it up by 2x the normal speed, can't help how it sounds as its a little higher pitched, this should shorten it by 6 secs, but i can't guarantee it will be the best, so here you guys go:

One word: don't.

 

Intros are pointless and annoying. If I have to sit through 15 seconds of nothing before the video starts, I'm not going to be pleased.

 

If you really, and I mean really insist on having an intro, keep it short, and keep it quiet. Don't have loud music that wakes up my neighbors, and don't have it any longer than it would take me to read the text on the screen. Really, it shouldn't be longer than three seconds. Three seconds MAX. This really is one of those cases where less is more.

 

Scott Manley's channel has a tolerable intro, for example. Notice that the intro is over before the three second mark. It's short, simple, and unobtrusive, while being memorable enough for me to show it here.
