ggg-2 3,553 May 6, 2015 Share May 6, 2015 I previously made a thread asking whether Big Mac was OOC in Applejack's Micro. But was he OOC in his own main series 2-comic arc too? Issues 9 and 10 make him out to be a stallion who seems to go out of his way to avoid things like festivals and gets easily irritated with the more outgoing citizens of Ponyville, while the show depicts him as being more easy-going and even more fun-loving at times such as when he pulled that prank on the CMC in Hearts & Hooves Day and when he pulled the shark fin gag on Apple Bloom in Leap of Faith. Ashen Pathfinder 16,161 May 6, 2015 Share May 6, 2015 Well, there is a difference. In the comic Big Mac had his sights set on getting something accomplished, but other things kept getting in his way. The way I take it is that Big Mac is easy-going and all, but he is also someone who has his sights set on a goal. When he is the latter, then he can get a little testy if something gets in his way. The thing is that the show doesn't explore his character, and likely won't. Going by the show alone we can only infer so much. 1 Pathfinder I Sojourner I Corsair | Zu'hra I Autumn | Scarlet Willow | Gypsy | Silverthorn | Crystal Whisper | Radiant Historia | And many other OCs~ Matching signatures with mah Bestie MOONLIGHT <
Malinter 3,064 May 6, 2015 Share May 6, 2015 The comics let he characters be alittle bit more edgier than they would otherwise be. I doubt you'll see Discord taking the piss out of how Zecora talks in the show like he did in the comic XD My OC's: Malinter, Rahl, Vengeful impact & alias-the-marked-one First fic i've written since forever here Skype: Malinter@Outlook.com "Defeating a sandwich only makes it tastier." most legendary quote ever.
