INACTIVE USERNAME 383 May 18, 2015 Share May 18, 2015 Now this might not be a big suggestion, but I was thinking it would be nice to have a private profile option on the forums. If you own a Steam account you may know they have an option to make your profile private to non-users, or even your friends. Or even just have only your friends view your profile. Again, this isn't a big suggestion, but I would for sure like to have only users from the forum and not some weirdo or even an anti-Brony come and see my profile and what I post. Now, of course this is a community based website, so I don't see a reasons to block users from your page unless you want to ignore them after a past incident. In the end, I just don't want some creep who isn't even apart of this community to view my profile and my activity. So, my suggestions are: Give an option to make your profile private to non-Poniverse users, or even blocking all users except your friends/staff. Have the option to make a topic, thread and blog to be private. (If you posted in a non-pirvate topic/thread, that's on you and anyone can see) Block a specific user from your account after a past incident that you may have had with him/her. Not a big concern, but I think it could make us feel a bit better on who can see what we're doing. Thank you!

Jeric 46,851 May 26, 2015 Share May 26, 2015 We really are not fans of Facebook style privacy here on MLPF. All of the profiles are open since it assists in traffic, but most importantly it also fosters a sense of community here that is at the core of our values. IPB allows members to place others on an ignore list, but not what you suggest. I also never recommend putting anything on the internet you don't want everyone to see. Features do break, and no security is perfect. But please keep throwing up ideas, we do look at all of them, even if they won't/can't be implemented. ^^
