PlunderSteed 1,252 May 18, 2015 Share May 18, 2015 Hello. If you haven't met me already, I'm a big fan of hard rock and metal. For the past year and a half, I've been creating MLP-themed rock/metal music videos. Some of it is covers, and some of it is original material. For the past year I've been playing with power metal band Draconequus. We're about to release our fifth music video, and we have about 1,000 subscribers on YouTube. We're just a drop in the bucket compared to what all is out there, though. I've had the chance to meet a number of other metal artists along the way, and it's an incredibly creative, talented group. As a community, we metalheads are definitely a very small minority within the heavily EDM-dominated brony music scene. Since we're fairly scattered, I want to help form a focal point for our interests. Towards this end, I'll be doing a weekly podcast with guests and featured tracks. We'll discuss various rock and metal genres, production details, instruments, and the community at large. If there's something specific you want to see, or if you're interested in being a guest on the show, let me know right here. It should be a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to getting us on the air. Our first episode is tentatively scheduled for recording on Saturday morning (US time zones). If you post here as a prospective guest, let me know your time zone as well as any involvement in the community that you may have had so far! Regards, PlunderSteed Bassist, pianist, and backing vocalist for MLP-themed metal band Draconequus. Check out our latest music video, a metal cover of "Tricks up my Sleeve" here. I've sent a contact request in Skype. We might be able to get you on the show, but we'll work out the details directly.
