You are able to send files through the private messaging system by uploading the file elsewhere and linking them to a download.  That being said, under our forum's rules, we do not allow users to link to, share, or upload copyrighted files on the forum.  As a result, the private messaging system should only be used to send files to a user which you created or have the legal authority to share.  If you're not sure if you can send a file, please file a support ticket or contact a moderator or admin prior to sending the file.
