Calcomania 43 June 17, 2015 Share June 17, 2015 where can I find information to participate in BABSCon for 2016? I am actually quite late to everything. I had no idea that these cons even existed until a few weeks ago. This is the first time I actually take a step or two to actually figure out if I want to go to a con or not. I am a San Diego Pegasister, haven't even met any fellow Bronies outside of my work and would be interested in meeting people face to face, be it at a Con or not I am quite a busy person IRL sooo sometimes work is all I have to meet people by. Anyway if someone could PM me or even post here vendor requirements, average pricing, size of booths etc, I completely understand that prices are subject to change due to me asking so far in advance for this information, but i at least want to know what the prices or protocols or rules etc are (and yes I did read the forum generic rules so I am not looking for that info I am looking for vendor stuff) thanks again for all your help! also... I am making notes to myself to remember I posted here (signed up for notifications to my email from the forum) otherwise I have a scatterbrain and tendency to forget I am participating in some online forum, no offense and I do hope I am able to keep track of my forum account hahaha will be browsing the forum now, let's see what I can find. Surf City Etching 9 June 25, 2015 Share June 25, 2015 I would just keep checking the Babscon website (http://www.babscon.com/) for updates on when they are accepting applications. You can also try emailing vendors@babscon.com and try to get put on their vendor mailing list. Not sure if they are doing that still but they did email people that showed an interest last year. As for prices the booth prices are pretty good, like $100 or $150 a table which is way better then most of the comic cons or anime cons that are anywhere from like 450-1100 a booth. You don't get a full on 10x10 booth like other cons provide for vendors but the dimensions should be provided when you sign up and I never really had a space issue at either of the previous years and I bring a bunch of boxes filled with glass. So far I only have good things to say about Babs and it is definitely one of my favorite cons. I plan on vending every year they have it for as long as I can. Also since you are from San Diego I would look into Equestria LA. Pretty sure you missed it for this year (I was also unable to attend =( ) but if they have it again next year I would keep an eye out. The other big one on the west coast is everfree up in Seattle which should actually be expanding their convention in 2016 since they are moving to a new location. If you have any other questions about other cons and such feel free to ask. You can also email me at surfcityetching@gmail.com or contact me through my website (surfcityetching.com). It is pretty much a photo dump for vendor applications but it gets the job done. Regards, Tristan
