Going too UK Ponycon alone

Anyone got any advice? I am going too cosplay up a little as Vinyl scratch, just the white t-shirt, gloves, vinyl scratch hat (with mane on the back) white combats and white / blue / black shoes + a necklacke. So I got that side sorted, its going to cost me 150 pounds + in total and thats if I go for one day, is it worth it? are people friendly there or will I spend alot of money to stand there like a lemon?

Well it sucks that you don't have any friends to go with, as that makes it a lot more fun, but I've only been to one convention, and it wasn't a Pony Convention, so I wouldn't be able to give any advice on stuff like that. You'll for sure meet people who are just like you, and have the same interests that you'll end up talking to the entire time, it happened to every one of my friends, and that is how I know some of my friends today.

Just go and enjoy yourself, even if you don't meet anyone new it only matters that you made the best of it. This is part of living life to its fullest and doing silly wacky things that we can look back on and say that was a good stand out memory. When life gets to normal or basic same day to day stuff just do something weird or silly.
