Looking for a fanfic

I was wondering if someone remembers or can help me track down a fanfic I once read. It's a fairly old one, I'd say probably dating back to late 2011/early 2012. It's not called "Observations of ponies on Lyr", because I've searched for that, but might be something similar.

 

The premise is a bit of an oddball one. The mane six get abducted by aliens and transported to another planet to see how they behave in a different environment. The story is written from the perspective of one of the alien researchers, in the form of personal {and frequently frustrated} reports, complete with the occasional diagram and notes on the margins. The things also get complicated in Equestria where the aliens {masquerading as ponies} responsible for covering up the abduction find themselves over their heads.
