SteveMorison 408 August 20, 2015 Share August 20, 2015 Think about it. Futurama is already a star trek parody, and I think Discord's antics and reference humor wouldn't look out of place in a show like that. They may need a scientific explanation for the level of his power even if it didn't make any actual sense in reality. Imagine it though, "Good news everyone, you'll be making a delivery to the planet Q5, a planet with beings so powerful they could take away your limbs in an instant, enjoy".
Smurfenstein 94 August 20, 2015 Share August 20, 2015 No explanation necessary. Have him and the Q collective just as an alien race. Though in fairness, Futurama never really did anything that could be construed as a Star Trek rip off and the character, even if JDL provided the voice, could be taken that way. All of the references were done as blatantly as possible, so even non fans would get it. Q may have gone over people's heads. Also, they mainly referenced the original series, with TNG onwards barely even acknowledged. Could have been fun though.
