midnight smiled and rubbed his cheek against his lovers right back,and kept their bodies side by side until they got to the library and he smiled raising a hoof and knocking on the door, "i hope shes home...." he blushed

"coming," came a singsong voice, and as the door opened a violet mare stood there and smiled, "hello midnight, whos this?"

midnight smiled, "this is electrobolt, i dont know if you two have met before."

 

she shook her head, "i dont remember seeing him in the library, though i think weve bumped into each other a few times," she smiled "anyway, what are you two here for?"

midnight sighed, "i need you to do that spell that allows ponies to walk on clouds, i want to show him how soft a cloud is."

twilight smiled, "ahh, yes, i believe i remember which book that was, come on inside you two."

Electrobolt smiled as he walked inside the library treehouse. Looking around, he was impressed at what he saw. There were hundreds of books sitting in shelves and all of the books were unique. Some had knowledge on the history of Equestria, others had information on spells for unicorns. And some of them were just good stories, including the Daring Do series. Smiling, he grabbed a Daring Do book that he had not read before and sat down at a free spot, opening the book up to page one as he silently read the book while waiting for Twilight to find the book with the right spell in it.

midnight sat there streaching his wings, watching electro read, and he smiled,

"got yourself a coltfriend?"

midnight jumped and turned, twilight was right there grinning, "y-yeah,"

she smiled, "you two make a great couple." giving him a friendly hug, "and i found the book, its a simple spell, that should last for 2 hours at the most." she turned to electro, "you ready?"

Electrobolt was surprised when he heard Twilight speak up, saying that Midnight got a coltfriend. He couldn't help but blush once he heard that they made a great couple. Once he heard Twilight ask if he was ready, Electrobolt stood up as he nodded, still blushing. "Yeah... I'm ready," he responded, waiting for the spell to take place.

midnight watched as her horn glowed, as the magic surrounded his feet, and glowed for mere moments before it dissapated,

"there, he should be able to walk, lay down, do whatever on clouds."

midnight smiled and hugged twilight softly, "thank you twilight,"

Smiling, Electrobolt spoke up, "Thank you so much for doing this for us, Twilight." Looking back at the book, he asked, "Hey, um... Do you mind if I check this book out for a bit...?" He closed the book before picking it up with one hoof, not having gotten very far into the book. In fact, he only got through the second page when Twilight came back.

twilight smiled, "of course, just make sure to bring it back, rainbow dash would be pretty mad if that one went missing for too long," she winked "she hasnt gotten that far."

Overdrive felt all his worries melt away as he kissed her back. The kiss was quickly interrupted by his stomach growling. Overdrive pulled back, "lets get some breakfast."

"Sure. You up for some pancakes? Im not too bad a making them."

*She asked. She was being modest. Her pancakes were some of the best in Equestria.*

Electrobolt simply smiled as he said, "Alright, I'll make sure I return it once I'm done." As he picked up the book and placed it in his saddlebag, he added, "And thanks again for doing this for us." Looking over to Midnight, he asked with a smile, "You ready to go?"

"Then pancakes it will be!" Overdrive grinned and strutted over to the stove, "need any help?"

midnight smiled and walked out just in front of the library and streached his wings a bit, before lowering himself, "hop on." he giggled, "this is going to be fun."

"Then pancakes it will be!" Overdrive grinned and strutted over to the stove, "need any help?"

 

"Nah, I got this. You just sit back and relax."

*Schwartz smiled and began to make the pancakes. After about 30 minutes, there was a nice stack of delicous smelling pancakes, ready to be eaten.*

"Alright, lets dig in!"

Electrobolt simply smiled as he followed Midnight outside. Before leaving, though, he turned around, facing Twilight, as he said, "I'll see you later, Twilight." After saying that, he turned around and got on Midnight's back like he asked. "Ready to go!" he spoke up, holding onto Midnight.

midnight smiled and thrust himself and electro into the air on the first try, howling at the sky above him, "i kinda missed the sky." he smiled, "no real rules but the ones you make." he smiled and looked around himself, it was surprisingly a clear day, until he saw a big cloud, and grinned, banking towards it.

As Midnight was soaring through the sky with him on his back, Electrobolt closed his eyes, feeling the wind in his face. This was truly an amazing experience that he had never experienced before, until now. *Man, I wish I was a pegasus now...* he thought to himself, loving the feeling of being in the sky. *I just love this feeling...* A few minutes afterwards, he opened his eyes, as he saw the very cloud that Midnight began to bank towards. He smiled as he held on tight, so that he wouldn't become an Earth Pony Pancake on the ground.

midnight smiled, he wouldnt let anything happen to electro if he could help it, as he felt electro hold tighter to his neck, grinning he slowed down and landed softly on the cloud, "just make sure the spell worked correctly, hold onto me and just put all your weight on one hoof," he smiled, "ill be here just in case, i wont let anything happen to you."

Electrobolt nodded as he, still holding onto Midnight, placed one hoof on the cloud. Surprisingly enough, his hoof didn't fall through the cloud. Smiling, he put another hoof down, and it didn't fall through either. Knowing that both hooves are still on the cloud, he let go of Midnight as he put all four hooves on the cloud. "This... Is so awesome..." he said, walking on the cloud. It felt like he was walking on an enormous, soft pillow. As he lied down on the cloud, he felt as if he could fall asleep in an instant. He began to feel jealous that Midnight was a pegasus and that he was an earth pony.

midnight smiled and nuzzled electro lovingly, "we can come up here as often as youd like," he smiled and flopped on the cloud and then began rolling around on it as it was a pretty big cloud.

"ohhh, i could take you to cloudsdale, never been there myself, but we could still go sometime." he smiled excitedly
