Why so few Twilight episodes?

That's the problem with her ascent into princesshood. It made normal slice of life episodes involving Twilight impossible to be done the way they were in seasons 1-3, since other ponies can't just ignore her status. The closest episodes we've got are strictly between the Mane Six.

 

Right now, I'm worried that the others will start to suffer the same problem. I won't get into too much detail on that though, since this topic is about Twilight.

If this is in relation to either the toy names that have been released or the other thread that's currently up, I wouldn't worry: I'm pretty much 100% certain those names are being misinterpreted.

I was referring mainly to the fact that lately they've been elevating the other Mane Five to be on equal footing with Twilight by giving them their own thrones and assigning them all the role of spreading friendship throughout Equestria. I'm afraid that this status will interfere with the slice of life aspect of the show. We've get to have a slice of life episode in season 5 that features a Mane Six character without revolving around their status and involves interaction with characters aside from each other.

The other 5 haven't been lifted up at all, there's absolutely no equalization or prestige there. When they go to fix the problem in griffontone its pointed out that THEY don't really have a stake in things like twilight does, and twilight's letter says to note that SHE sent them, not anything about a magical map connected to them or anything.

They aren't lifting the other five up to be equal XD

 

 

As for slice of life episodes, I'm not really seeing a problem so far; Rainbow dash's episode with Tank didn't have anything to do with status, AJ was alongside the CMC in appleloosa's most wanted without any hint of her having a better station at all, and we're getting a huge helping of episodes incoming with nothing to do with the mane six in relation to each other, like Rarity's boutique episode, and I doubt Rarity investigates will try and portray them as being of any higher station than normal.
