Sappy was flying through the air. His companion was sitting on his back. They both had tea. Sappy took a sip of the hot liquid. "This is simply unacceptable. Why do we get a mission from princess Celestia, in the middle of our daily tea. We should scold Celestia, don't you agree chap?" Said Sappy with a frown.

Kito had a grumpy expression, He hated being disturbed whilst having his daily doze of tea, Well, Rather his daily doze of sugar. "Kito wad, Bahani ka vooloo." He explained waving his arms in the air, Still looking a bit crabby.

 

He laid down on the huge scaly back of his fellow gentleman, Feeling the soft silk against the back of his furry head as he contemplated his life. Trough his boggled mind one essential thought hit him, Food. He was very hungry, "Kati vigaha nigohat!" He said as he preformed a circling motion with one of his furry fingers towards the blue sky.

Sappy nodded "Yes, we should most defenitly eat, i'm positively starving" As if on cue, Sappy's stomach gave out a little grunt of disaprooval. They landed at the balcony, Sappy fixed his tuxedo to make sure he looked presentable. He looked at his companion "Shall we?"

Kito removed his top hat and whit one swift motion dragging his claws through the already almost perfectly combed fur before once again placing the fine hat on his head. He wasn't done adjusting his appearance yet though, He tightened his bow tie and let out a deep breath. "Owagi nakata!" He said as a smile widened on his face further revealing his giant canines before reaching out an arm signaling Sappy to feel free to step ahead.

Sappy laughed "Quite the gentleman i see" Said the dragon and walked ahead. They passed many guards who would stare at the odd duo, but Sappy offered a smile and tipped his hat to every guard. They arrived at the throne doors, two guards where guarding the door. "Hello gentlemen, me and Kito here have been called by Celestia for a special mission, could you let us come inside?" Asked Sappy

As they walked through the halls Kito had noticed what Sappy was doing and simply imitated him, Putting his extreme canined on display for all to see, And the guards looked a bit unsure on what to do in return. He could see the discomfort in the guards eyes and canceled hid act, He instead pulled out his pocket clock. He carefully inspected the shiny object, Thinking hard about what the clock was actually telling him. But he quickly realized he does not know how to read a clock. All he could do to express his disappointment was to let out a heavy sigh. 

 

They arrived at the door and Sappy told the guards about the invitation from the princess. Kito attempted to use his previous tactic of smiling at the guards, He quickly grabbed one of the guards attention and a single drop of sweat worked it's way down his face. Thereafter they were let in to the rather big throne room, Lit by the multitude of colors it's windows created.

The guards allowed the gentleman duo in through the doors. Sappy smiled at Celestia, showing his teeth that could easily tear a pony to pieces if he so pleased. "Greetings Celestia, what in the world do you want us for? We where in the middle of our daily tea." He suddenly got a scowl "And you know how much we apreciate our tea" Sappy changed back to his normal smile, like nothing happened. 

 

Celestia was a bit uneasy with his mood swings, but she let it slide. "Yes, i'm sorry to disturb you from your tea party, but we are in need of some ponies or dragon in your case, that knows a whole lot about cultur, to represent us in the griffon kingdom" Explained Celestia

 

Sappy carefully thought about it, and then looked at his companion. "What do you say chab? Care to pay the old king a visit?" Asked Sappy

Kito not to happy with Celestia, Looked at her before ;In a very snobbish manner swinging his head to the side with is eyes close, Saying no more then an approving "Hwa.". He was actually rather excited though, He had read about the griffins in one of sappy books but never actually seen one. Still with a rather snobbish grumpy expression he stood looking at the dragon trying his hardest to keep his excitement concealed.

Sappy catching on to Kito's plan, nodded. "yes, you rise quite a good point chap." He looked at Celestia. "In order for us to go to the griffons, we need the following. 1st class passenger seat on the train, a meal before we leave and two bottles of Barolo. Do you accept our terms?" Asked Sappy.

 

Celstia pondered the question and answered hesitantly "Well no i don't th-" Before she could finnish the sentence, they both flashed their teeth. Celestia conceded "I mean yes! of course. I will get the chefs, and the tickets. The wine is in the storage room behind me" Said Celestia and left. Sappy flashed Kito a grin. "The advantages of being a carnivore eh?"

Kito, Now very pleased, Looked at Celestia with a very smug expression before turning his head towards his scaly friend smiling back at him. He thought about the wine as he waddled towards the storage, Peeking into it with exploring eyes he pointed out a bottle that seemingly stood out from the rest trying to look like he made an educated guess. He liked wine, But tea, With a lot of sugar, Was defiantly  something he enjoyed more.

Sappy nodded. "That's the bottle. Let's proceed to the dining room" The duo walked in perfect synchronisation, or as perfect as possible when it came to their physical differences. They sat down at the table, and gazed upon all the food presented before them. But there was one thing lagging how ever... Meat. Sappy let it slide this time only, but he was definetly going to get some in the griffon kingdom

The chair Kito was sitting on had three stacked pillows on it for him to sit on to be able to even reach the table. Eagerly Kito grabbed many of the various foods, Not really even thinking about the fact that there was no meat. A cringe formed on his face when looking to the side of his plate, There was a multitude of different cutlery. He was unsure on what exactly to use, as his hand slowly neared one of the three forks tension was building up in him, Time to time looking up at Sappy trying to force some sort of confirmation out of him.

Sappy nodded. "Just eat everything chap, there is plenty of food to satisfy or cravings... For now" Said the dragon as he polished his monocle. He took a sip of the tea "Ahh, now that's some quality tea right there" Said Sappy with a content smile, he ate some of the fruit salad and took out a new bottle of wine. "Hmm...  a Bruno Giacosa Barbaresco? That's quite the wine, that will fit our food quite nicely" Said Sappy with a smile, and poured them the expensive liquid. Before Kito could drink, Sappy held out a finger and started to lecture Kito "When you have a nice wine, you have to make sure to gently shake the glass, as you can see, a red spot remains where the wine was. This means that the wine is good. With that being said, cheers chap!" said Sappy and brought up his glass for a toast
