"Oh, good morning" Dark turned her head to Hooligan "I'm making tea for us so we can have some for when you tell me about this big surprise" She said picking up a hot teapot with her magic and taking it over to the dinning table "I mean I would love to here what this is about" She pours the tea in two cups already laid out "So..." She sat down "What do you want to talk about?"

Hooligan sat down and sighed, "well when we first met i said i didn't want to change my appearance cause it wasn't who i was. Well two days ago i found away to fix my face and return to my old self," he lied, "but if i go through with it there's a high chance that i'll loose my memories. Includeing the memories of you." Hooligan siged and took a sip of his tea.

@@Dapper Charmer,

"Oh...you don't have to change if you don't want to" She took a sip of the tea as well "I guess its because now I'm here right? You want to show how much better you can be after the help I have given?" She guessed because she didn't have a lot of information "Are the chances high?"

 

(They have to drink it all so these are the final moments, make them good. P.S. I want the last word in before the tea is finished because I got a good line)

"The chances of me forgeting you are very high," Hooligan explained, "but i didn't call you here to show you how much better i can be. I called you here because.." Hooligan stopped he tried to finish the sentence but his mouth refused to make the action. Tears fell down Hooligna's cheeks, "i called you here because i needed to tell you that you deserve someone better than me you deserve someone will a whole mind." Hooligan looked down and a tear fell into his tea, "i'm sorry."

Dark was shocked, she didn't know what to say "But you don't need it do you?" She got a bad gut feeling "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say your opinion isn't good or anything, I just..." She really didn't know what to say and tears started to build in her eyes. Dark, try to make this moment last longer...so you can remember it more clearly, you don't want it to be like me and Ellie. We had such sort time back then and I wish I remembered all the details. Dark tried to as she drank more of the tea, almost gone. Spirit felt tingling and slight weakness.

Hooligan sighed he didn't know if she was getting it. "You're right Dark I don't need the treatement," he said to her as he took another sip of tea, "that's why i'm not getting it. But you still need someone who isn't insane to love and care for you. And that person can't be me." Hooligan took another sip and waited for Dark to let it sink in. As he waited his head felt a bit dizzy.

Dark slammed her hooves on the table "But I don't care if your insane because love is insane!" She yells with tears welling up in her eyes "it just makes them even more interesting and then there could be another pony helping others in the world...I just want a more perfect world then the one we live in" She sat back in her seat  "I know that we can't be perfect but we at least should try when we have the chance" Dark felt everything be slower than before, she tried to say the right things with the extra time "And from what I know of you, you don't fit the textbook explanation of insane either"

"I know i don't look or act crazy now but my mind isn't right," said Hooligan sadly. He sighed, "i didn't tell you this but that night at the movies after you left i went back and and brutally beat up the usher. I broke his bones and made him bleed. I snapped in that moment. And i don't want to be around you when i snap again."

Dark didn't know what to say again "Why do you think I want to help you get over that stuff? I want to do it so I can make the best you, you can like different things still but I'd like to help to stop anything like that...I know that it can't be fixed that easily but nothing worth doing is easy" She tried so hard to find the right words and being positive helped with those words. She drank the last of the tea. Dark, can you say something for me? What? Well...when he drinks his tea all the way say-. From what Spirit said, she understood what was about to happen and sighed.

Hooligan sighed deeply, "I'm sorry Dark," he said sadly, "but this has to happen." Hooligan raised his cup, "to us." he toasted before drinking the last of his tea. Suddenly Hooligan's head felt lighter. Bedlam felt it to. Bedlam knew something was going on. He tried to take control but found himself too weak. Hooligan looked at Dark, "what's happening?" he asked.

"Spirit wants to say goodbye to you Hooligan" Dark responds "And to Bedlam, she says that this sacrifice was worth it to get you out of the picture, because your nothing but an evil entity that deserves what comes to him"

 

Its a bitter sweet moment. No kidding. They had a room of thought to themselves in Dark's mind. Spirit looked like she had before going into Dark's mind but was fading. So...before I go I wanted to make sure you know why this happened with me, because I know Ellie was sugarcoating it by 1000g. I expected that. Spirit paused. One day when you were 6 Ellie thought it would have been a great idea to go casting a spell to make me into a 'Goddess' for are anniversary. A shadow like representation of Spirit appeared in the room. What she means is that he wanted to give her immense power and a new outfit that he made, the spell that was casted though was obviously to big for him and it was off an old scroll he found...I still don't know if he did it right or the spell was mistranslated or anything. What happened instead was my soul was split, twice, and to fix it he thought of the only available option. He put your soul in me. Exactly, it wasn't, she's talking from heaven, she had unfinished businesses in the world so she's 'haunting' you, or that one about how I am a goddess now. Both spirits were almost gone by now. You know, prolonging this life may have been bad at some points but I'm glad that I'm in your head, even if your an idiot. Dark made her own figure in the room and hugged them. You know I find it humorous that you call your daughter an idiot. your my idiot.

 

After the whole event in Dark's head was over she woke back up in the real world with Hooligan staring at her. Dark couldn't speak, her throat was clogged by mucus from crying. Since she couldn't speak, Dark just went around the table and hugged Hooligan.

Before Hooligan could react to what Dark had said he was sent back into his own mind facing Bedlam. "What's going on?" asked Hooligan.

"Don't you get it," replied Bedlam, "that tea it's sending me away."

"Can't say I'm dissapointed." Bedlam went silent. "Well can you blame me," said Hooligan, "these past few days you've been a complete ass. I know Dark isn't crazy like me, but it doesn't mean you have to be such a prick."

"Don't you get it numb skull?!" shouted Bedlam, "I did it cause i was afraid."

"Afraid?"

"Yes. I was afraid that she'd force me out of your mind."

"Dark wouldn't do that."

"Look around it's happening right now!"

"You left her no other choice."

Bedlam sighed, "I guess your right. I'm sorry Hooligan. I was so absorbed in not lossing you that i ignored how you felt. I can't believe i let something so silly come between us."

Hooligan smiled. He was happy to see the old Bedlam back, "it's okay i forgive you."

Bedlam smiled, "I'm glad," he said. Bedlam began to fade. He looked up at Hooligan, "before i go let me tell you one last thing. I know what you want to ask this girl. And i want you to know that even though you don't need my permission you have none the less."

"Thank you."

"Goodbye old friend." Without another word Bedlam vanished.

Hooligan awoke to find himself hugging Dark, "Dark my mind. It's clear." said Hooligan with joy.

"I'm glad that your happy, any moment I see you happy it makes me perk up more than usual" She hugged harder "Even if I won't see her again, I cant get her out out of my head, Celestia all the memories with her are flowing throw me as if she was saying them to me...her jokes about me have now turned funny in my eyes for some reason" She chuckles "Anything you would like to add"

"I don't really know," said Hooligan happily, "It's just been so long since i've had my mind all to myself." Hooligan looked up at Dark with tears in his eyes, "I can't thank you enough. Not just for this but for everything. Ever since i met you my life has taking a turn for the better. And even though i only met you a few days ago i can't imagine my life without you," Hooligan knelt down on one, "so I ask you, as a stallion to a mare, if you marry me?" Hooligan asked as he pulled out a small box containing a ring.

"I don't know when you got that but you know exactly what I'll say" She opened the box and put the ring on her horn "You know I was going to ask too but I didn't have a ring...this feels like one of those movies where people get married in a day, but I know there is so much more" She cleared her throat "Getting back on track, are lives don't wait for us and I remember something about a usher? I think a little magic can fix it, hopefully" She smiled nervously at the stallion in front of her.
