He looks revolting. He looks fine to me so shut up spirit. Celestia, all those looks ponies are giving you two. This has to be some sort of social tormoial that you will always have. Yeah well it doesn't matter, I don't care what they think...it matters what I think. What you think will make others vomit.

 

After the souls argued, Dark found herself sitting down at one of the rows in there theater with popcorn "sorry I shut off for a bit, I got lost in thought" she says chuckling a little "Here's some gummy bears" she says getting out the candy she brought

"You really don't have to apologise," said Hooligan as he grabbed on of the gummy bears Dark Shine was offering, "we all get lost in thought occasionally."
"Some more then others," said Bedlam.
As Hooligan watched the movie he looked over at Dark Shine, she was still as beautiful as ever.
(come on Hooligan), he thought to himself, (make your move)Hooligan looked back at the movie screen and casualy yawned, he raised both his arms in the air and when he brought them back down he placed one on Dark Shines shoulder.

Uh, I feel this even if I'm not connected to your nerves. Spirit says when Hooligan put his hoof around Dark, which got Dark to blush. Dark let it slide and payed attention to the movie "Con? Is that you?" "Like I would leave the one pony I promised to bring back safe" "but the world is more important than me...I know that for a fact" "maybe, but the world would be changed to much without you" that line notably got the attention of the mare and she stood up "well then lets go finish this, together" "two heads are always better than one" "I ship it" Dark joked

Hooligan chuckled at Dark Shine's comment and continued to watch the movie. After while Hooligan began to feel restless, he wasn't usually still for this long. Luckily for him the climax of the film was starting.

 

"So Mr Con Mane, it seems that you have found me," said Dr Claw Hoof, "but I will still prevail. For you see I have set up detonation charges throughout Celestia's castle. And if you do not surrender I will detonate them."

"You think an empty threat like that will stop me?" said Con Mane.

"A empty threat is it? Well let's just see how empty it really is." Dr Claw Hoof pressed the detonation switch, but nothing happen. He looked up at Con Mane in confusion and anger, "what did you do?"

"Simple I disarmed the explosives."

"That won't stop me, I still have my missile."

"You didn't let me finish Claw Hoof, I disarmed your explosive. But you didn't disarm mine." Con Mane pulled out a small switch from his pocket and before anypony could do anything he pressed the detonation button. Suddenly Dr Claw's missile burst into flames.

 

Hooligan saw the explosion that was happening on screen and couldn't contain his excited, "Go Con Mane!" he shouted, "Yay explosions." Hooligan looked around and realised his reaction may have been a bit to loud. He sat back down and looked at Dark Shine, "sorry, I may have gotten carried away there."

He acts like a colt and you act like a filly, your a perfect couple. Nice line, I'll use that some time? Dammit that's not the point! She voices talked "just calm down...I mean, pretend if your in that moment right there. Con may have gotten distracted and killed" she says trying to be nice "ponies look funny at us already from the way we look and the things we like, lets not give them a good reason to hate us by talking in the movie theater during the most suspenseful-" she caught her self and looked at the rest of the ponies in the room "I'll shut up now"

Hooligan smiled, "okay I get your drift. I'll try to be quieter from now on," he said politely as he watched the rest of the movie.

"I won't," said Bedlam, "SCREEEM!"

"Hooligan cringed, "be quiet," He whispered to himself. True to his word Hooligan managed to keep quiet for the end of the film. As the credits began to roll he turned to Dark Shine, "so what did you think of the movie," he asked politely.

"I thought it was good with minimum plot holes and a good action" she said doing a mocking critic voice "It was awesome, what do you expect?" She smiled at Hooligan as they left the theater. "I was thinking I could make something at home for lunch, I mean I learned a new spell awhile ago called shadow flames...magic food is supposed to have a different taste and I want to try it"

Hooligan smiled as he pulled his mask back over his face, "I'd like to try it too," he said happily, "magic food sounds interesting."

"Actually," said Bedlam, "it sounds awful."

Hooligan ignored Bedlam and continued to walk beside Dark Shine, "well, anyway I'm glad that you enjoyed the movie."

"I'm glad you took me to see it...it was very fun" they got to Dark's shop/home "I was thinking of pancak-" she looked at the inside to see the place a total mess and at the center was Elie "come on, this potion worked last time. now to use it on D-" They stared at each other for a while. Knew it, he was just here to give you something. Maybe poison or worst, this guy can not be trusted! "what is this?" her voice was shaky "Dark I was just making a potion for you" "to what? Mind control me? Poison me? What were you trying to do to me?" "its...for something important, something in your mind" He's talking about me, he wants to change you by force. No he doesn't, I can decide "just drink it" "what if I don't want to? What if I like Spirit?" "She told you this? And is using her last name?" "What are you talking about?" "The soul is you mom's" Dark was dumbfounded and couldn't speak about what he said "she...what?" "if you were smart you would drink the potion and get rid of it. She is a parasite that will sooner or later make you do something you don't want to by force...before I weakened her but I didn't stop her" I just wanted you to be safe and protect you from things, stop him, I don't want to die and be gone...I want to see your life. Even if I turn a bit corrupt, I am still your mother in here.  "get out" "what?" "get out!" Dark levitated Elie up and out the door. "I just wanted to hel-" Dark soundproofed the glass around the shop with magic. She turned to Hooligan "sorry about that...I'll be in the backroom" she walking into the all purpose backroom

As Dark Shine left his sight Hooligan allowed all that information to sink in. It was pretty clear that the he wasn't the only one with a second soul in his head.

"Finally," said Bedlam, "let's get out of here."

"No," said Hooligan forcefully, "I need to make sure she's all right."

"Who cares if she's all right?"

"I do! I mean how would you like it if someone tried to kick you out of my head?"

"It probably suck." said Bedlam glumly.

"Exactly." Hooligan walked towards the back room and knocked on the door, "Dark Shine. It's me Hooligan. Is it all right if I come in?"

"sure, why not? I mean I'm a little upset but its fine for you to come in" she stopped madly cooking pancakes and opened the door "Elie really needs to stop coming out of nowhere and messing with my life" she was clearly still pissed. She returned to making pancakes for the two of them as she promised.

Hooligan entered the room and walked over to Dark Shine, "you may say that now but in a few years time you'll probably be in a tight spot, just wishing that your father would be there to comfort you," said Hooligan calmly, "I know you probably think he's the worst person in the world right now, but you'll need to forgive him eventually. Maybe not today or tomorrow but someday. Because if you severe the tie between you and him it will never be repaired. Trust me I know from experience."

"But," said Bedlam.

"But, that doesn't mean what he did was right either. That voice, or rather soul, in your head makes you who you are. And your father has no right to take that from you. Further more you shouldn't have to change to please him, if anything he should change to please you. Now is there anything I can do to help with the pancakes?"

"your right about the tie thing" That jerk doesn't deserve you though. "I would like you to get me some of the blue berries in the fridge" all the cooking wear was right across from her bed in a tight space "also I need a book called 'the dark makes light stronger' from the shelf" the bookshelf was almost touching the counter top of the 'kitchen' and the bed on the other side of Dark "I would just slide over the bed...watch out for the potions above it though"

Hooligan smiled as he towards the fridge, "sure thing Dark Shine," he said. Hooligan reached in the fridge and pulled out the blueberries. He then slide over the bed and levitated the book Dark Shine wanted. "Here you go Dark Shine," Hooligan said happily as he handed her the blueberries and the book. He looked around the back room, "Is this where you sleep?"

"Sleep, eat, study, basically anything that you normally do in a house, I do in here" she looked around the small space and opened the book to the chapter she was on before "its not like I can afford a house with the small amount of ponies that come in here...but lets just say, Luna gave me the amount I make on a normal day" she sighs as she is finishing a few of the magically made pancakes "I wish ponies would stop being scared of me to try some of my potions, I mean I have luxury potions that that are just meant for joy but no one really comes in" she looks at Hooligan after finishing the pancakes "what about you? Whats your house like?"

"It's more of a hideout really," said Hooligan jokingly, "but, it's an old warehouse I found a couples years back. And no one knows where it is except me."

"And me," said Bedlam.

"Yeah Bedlam knows too. It's pretty great big and secluded." Hooligan sighed, "It's gets lonely sometimes though." Hooligan chuckled, "You know what's funny, your living space is too small and mine is too big. It probably solve both our problems if you just came and lived with me," Hooligan continued to chuckle but stopped when he realised he just asked Dark Shine to move in with him. Hooligan blushed.

Dark laughed a little but it slowly faded "seriously? Were you proposing to move in with you? Where even is it?" She asked taking it half seriously. She heard the bell of her shop ring "help yourself to some pancakes, I kind of need this money" she walked past him somehow and answered the door "welcome to my..." she couldn't believe what she saw, there were three ponies in her shop and normally they come one at a time "what would you ponies want today?"

Hooligan slapped himself in the forehead, "stupid, stupid," he said to himself, "I can't believe I asked her to move in with me."

"Someone's an eager beaver," said Bedlam.

"Quiet you." Hooligan picked up one of the freshly made pancakes and ate it, "wow this is good."

"welcome to my..." she couldn't believe what she saw, there were three ponies in her shop and normally they come one at a time "what would you ponies want today?"

 

"Well," said the first pony, who was a unicorn, "me and my friends are planning on a camping trip, so we need some potions to help start a fire,"

"And a couple of first aid potions too please," said the second pony, who was a Pegasus.

"sure, I mean fire root is actually common in the Everfree forest, as are the yoshrooms in the healing" she grabs the potions for them "I'm telling you this in case you need to make more...water and mixing should make a weak version of both but use these better ones first" she places three of each kind on the counter "so what brought you to my shop? I mean there are other general stores that have medicine and bandages" she asks as she has never seen them before

"Well my friends and I just got back from Manehatten last night," said the unicorn, "and we saw Luna flying from this store,"

"Since we were planning on getting potions for camping anyway we thought why not shop where the Princess shops."

All three of the ponies smiled in unison. Hooligan walked out of the back room and stood next to Dark Shine, "these pancakes are delicious," said Hooligan.

"Scarface is that you?" asked the Unicorn.

Hooligan turned to the three ponies and smiled, "My word if it isn't the Misfitz, I haven't seen you guys since that wild week in Las Pegasus."

"Yeah, it's been a while."

Hooligan turned to Dark Shine, "Sorry, allow me to introduce you to some old colleagues of mine. HornJob," he said pointing to the Unicorn, "Wingman," he said pointing to the Pegasus, "and finally Bucky," he said pointing to the Earth Pony.

I didn't consider him the friend type...meh doesn't change anything. Dark thought looking at the three and also thought it was wise not to say how weird of a name 'HornJob' was, it reminded her of a movie she saw but wanted to forget FOREVER. "Nice to meet you all, my name is Dark Shine and any pony not scared off by my reputation is a friend of mind...that and the whole Hooligan's friend thing makes you my friend too" she joked "so you were brought her by Luna? I think the best day of my life has carried over to today and perhaps tomorrow" she says but then gets reminded of what happened literally not an hour ago "well maybe not best day but defiantly a good day"

Hooligan gave HornJob a scowl as if to say play nice.

Wingman looked at Dark Shine then at Hooligan, "Oh I get it. You two have got the hots for each other don't you?"

Dark chuckled "well evidence points to Hooligan liking me, I mean we went on a date earlier today" she said to the others "not like there is anything wrong with that" she says with a smile. These ponies don't seem well...I would have second thoughts before befriending them. Really? I thought you would scream at me. I'm going to try to be more reluctant...the corruption should slow with that. So no matter what it will happen? As far as I know, yes.

Hooligan blushed, "Yeah whatever." said Hooligan in response.

Hooligan smiled, "really I thought jokes were supposed to be funny."

Wingman started laughing and Bucky joined in. HornJob chuckled and turned to Dark Shine, "Anyway how much do we owe you for the camping stuff?"

Dark, after also laughing at Hooligan being teased, got back on track and turned to HornJob "thirty bits, its five for each bottle so if you think its to much then you can just say you don't want one of them" she said walking over to the counter with the cash register
