A Very Minor Dispute

Not quite worthy of life advice, although perhaps could be used that way if I bear it in mind for future..

 

I currently have a difference of opinion over the "about me" information in my profile here. My wife is not particularly into animations, and therfore not interested in watching MLP - although she does find some of the mechandise cute and seems to enjoy buying it for the kids

 

Anyways, due to her lack of interest in MLP itself, she knows nothing of the fandom, the community, or this forum, but she did see me typing out my profile and due to it's length decided to read it. Her opinion is that people won't get it and will think (or realise) that i'm some kind of nut job. My opinion is that I am some kind of nut job, but not because of stuff like my profile on the MLP forum.

 

So, if any of you would be kind enough - and have a few minutes to spare - to give your opinion on my profile, I can either change it, or tell her to mind her business  That while I appreciate her concern, it's not neccesary on this occasion.

 

Randomish afternote, I did mange to get her to watch Lullaby for Princess + Animation once, and she really liked it but didn't gain any interest in watching the show itself, and i'm not the type to be pushy about getting someone to watch something they're not really into, any other good short works that could show the quality side of MLP?

I read your "About Me," and it seems like she might be right, but that's ok because you're the amusing kind of nutjob and not the "Oh my god, call the cops," kind of nutjob.

 

Also, I'm a nutjob and so are most of my friends. No big deal.

 

 

Without knowing what kinds of things your wife is interested in, I can't offer too many suggestions, but I've got a couple of short playlists that might have something.
