Does Hasbro have any other plans to make another good cartoon?

And I don't mean G5 or anything. Is there any projects they're planning? Like a cartoon that isn't as cringy as the typical children's cartoon?

 

I mean they got a very good example of a cartoon that hit the bank like no tomorrow. They should be taking notes...

Yeah but they're the ones that fund them so they should be looking for the next project that can keep their cash flowing if they are done with MLP.

You clearly don't understand Hasbro at all. They're one of the only companies that cares very much how good their shows are when they don't strictly have to (and in fact, all companies care how good because more good = costs more money; Hasbro is rare in being willing to spend more money to make a better product.)

 

The Michael Bay Transformers movies, which Hasbro merely licensed and did not and does not directly influence, are horrible and moronic, but they drew in ridiculous amounts of money for Hasbro for little to no effort on their part. This allowed Hasbro to create a dedicated studio and their own channel (the latter sadly defunct) just for cartoons based on their properties and allowed the funding of Transformers: Prime, Friendship is Magic, Littlest Pet Shop, and Robots in Disguise, all of which are created by people directly hired and overseen by Hasbro as opposed to merely waving them off with a "meh go ahead whatever".

 

Everybody outsources the labor of animation and general footwork to third-party studios. Hasbro is the one paying them. Hasbro is the one holding them to standards. Hasbro directly oversees and "produces" the concepts, scripts, storyboards, voice acting, and key frames those third party studios work from. If that doesn't constitute a company creating something than nothing does. By your logic, you aren't the creator of any project you ever hire a team to work on.

 

If Hasbro didn't care how good the shows were, they wouldn't be any good. It's only because of Hasbro's "meddling" that Transformers and My Little Pony have taken off so well.

 

Producer is indistinct from creator. To produce is to create. Those are synonyms.

As above explained. They do care about quality, because better quality means more money. You don't know how Hasbro market, do you.
