Blue Yeti desk noise isolation

I love the Blue Yeti, but it is a pig for picking up every knock and tap on the surface it sits on. I looked at the proper isolators, but that meant suspending it and I like the "take it with you" portability of the standard heavy base. So I set to and popped my own rubber-band isolator into the standard screwed on base.

 

 

The 1/8" ally is basically two star fish shapes with some 'nibbles' to stop the rubber bands slipping.
