Sparkle to breaths through the corner of her mouth attempting to stop herself from choking on the smell. "yeah... I'll be fine... hopefully" she replied before sitting at the main computer to check the shipping manifest. "Red we're in luck. this ship was part of an aid convoy and guess what it was carrying. enough food and water to last us an extra week. I don't know what condition it's in but it should be okay." Sparkle noticed a voice log on the computer and played it. "*male voice* alright... we should be coming up on... what the hell is that? *female voice*oh sweet Celestia... *sounds of crunching metal, warning sirens and screams as crew members are apparently sucked into space*"

 

"That sounded an awful lot like somethin' hit th' hull," Redwood observed, "Almost like a... meteor. Just like our ship. Sparkle, that can't be a coincidence."

Sparkle checked the security feed for Stardate 32342.6 when the accident happened which showed the ship being struck by a meteor exactly the same shape and size as the one that hit her own ship. Sparkle looked up her visor had revealed something in the distance. something large and it was coming towards them.

Redwood heard something in the distance and looked to see what it was. All she could see was a large, indecipherable object, but what she could tell was that it was coming towards them.

"their vision is based on movement" the bear moved around and sniffed the air before pulling one of the corpses outside and away. "poor sod" Sparkle said as the bear dragged it's meal away.

Ah can run fast enough to get outta th' bridge, but ah'm not fast enough to outrun it forever. If we're both gonna make it, you gotta get Roger as fast as you can."

Sparkle nodded shyly and walked off keeping low and slow so the Bear thing wouldn't come running. they were interrupted by sounds of squawking from Roger and growling from the bear which had stupidly picked a fight with Roger who was busy sleeping in the sun

Redwood quietly crept through the ship with Sparkle, taking care not to bump or jostle anything. Her attention was then caught by the sound of squawking and growling outside.

Sparkle opened a large door which brought them into the cargo hold which was filled with crates labeled "water, destination:" the destination was scratched off most likely by dying crew members.

Redwood then tossed the bottle over to Sparkle and kept looking through the cargo hold.

After messing with the wires under the console, Shadow got up and turned on the power. The lights came on for a few second, then shut off again, He smacked the console out of frustration. He sat down and sighed, then he went back under it. After a few minutes the cameras dropped out, giving Shadow a scare. He got up and sat down in the seat.

 

The cameras turned on, but looked like they were off.

"That hits th' spot," she said to herself.

 

Redwood then tossed the bottle over to Sparkle and kept looking through the cargo hold.

 

"Hey, you see any food around here?" she asked.

"no... "Sparkle looked up. "it's up there." she said noticing crates on a second smaller floor. she flew up to it landing with a soft clinking noise like she was standing on broken glass... because she was. a large hole had been created in one of the windows sending glass all over the floor

Redwood climbed over a few boxes and reached the second floor. She popped the lid of one of the crates and pulled out a can.

 

"Well, ah guess it's a good thing ah'm used to eatin' MREs," said Redwood.

Sparkle shrugged "it's a shipwreck i don't know what happened"Sparkle cracked open a can and began eating. seemingly pleased with the supplies that Red and her had found. she leaned back her extended wings hitting a button which lowered (nosily) the entire second floor revealing that it was in fact an elevator

"Watch it, Sparkle. A mistake like that can get you killed in a situation like this," Redwood said, "Now, let's grab what we can and get goin'. Ah don't wanna stick around that bear fer too long."

Sparkle put her load on and then climbed to her usual position hugging the right neck. Roger flew back out through the window his three tails breaking the rest of it in Roger's mouth's however was a large quantity of bear meat. meaning he was able to take down the bear that attacked him and killed the crew of the I.G.T.A ship.

"Ah guess ah underestimated th' big guy," said Redwood, referring to Roger, "Ah didn't think you could even kill those things. Now we know he's good for more than just flyin' us around. Ah'm startin' to like him."

Without any further prompting besides Sparkle's smile, Redwood leaned in, closed her eyes, and kissed her. Rather than being brief about it as she had done before, Redwood took longer and put passion into the kiss. Her heart exploded the same as it had done before.

Sparkle once again became extraordinarily hot but put her front hooves around Red not letting her go for anything at all. Eventually Sparkle fell to the ground dragging Red down with her and fell asleep next to Red and still holding her closely.

Redwood couldn't be more glad that Sparkle had reciprocated her feelings. She laid next to Sparkle, bewildered at how easily Sparkle fell asleep, especially since they were riding on the back of a massive bird. Redwood decided to simply lie there and enjoy the ride.

Karas looked up into the sky. It saw that the huge shadow of a flying creature was headed right for it!

 

"Oh no no no. Hell no. I'm gone."

 

Karas started flying as the giant winged creature's shadow eclipsed the sun, "Oh goddammnit! This world isn't safe!

 

The creature screeched loudly enough to be heard for 50 miles.
