If DHX held a contest and picked you to assemble gen 5's dream team

but you were required to have a mane 6 of ponies from at least 3 past mlp generations. Who would you have as the dream team of generation 5?

 

I would choose Butterscotch (pre gen 1), Surprise (gen1), Rosedust (gen 1), Toola Roola (gen 3), Star Dreams (gen 4), and Vinyl Scratch (gen 4)

So the 6 would be a unique combo of 2 unicorns, 1 pegasus, 1 Flutterpony, and 2 earth ponies

Mimic (g1), Toola Roola(g3), Nightglider (g1), Skydancer (g1), Princess Silver Swirl (g2), and Blossomforth (g4)

 

Mimic would be like Pinkie Pie of the group, Toola Roola shy like Fluttershy, Nightglider would love to learn like Twilight Sparkle, Skydancer would love to fly and be proud like Rainbow Dash, and Princess Silver Swirl would be generous like Rarity. Blossomforth would be honest and hardworking like Applejack.

good picks there. Especially since you got Toola and Glider. Silver's not bad, either. I like her.

You didn't really have to compare them to the g4 6, but that's ok.
