More male episodes?

Would you be open to the show having more episodes focusing on the male characters? I think it'd be interesting to give them more development.

Absolutely. I'd love to see more of the episodes focusing on male characters, thus giving them more character development. 

 

I in particular would love to see some heroic moments for the likes of Big Macintosh, Shining Armor, Cheese Sandwich, Soarin, Dr. Hooves, Sunburst, etc.

 

In some cases, they may have to step in for an injured/kidnapped or incapacitated Mane 6 member(s) and save Equestria in their place.

 

Ever since "Brotherhooves Social", I've been pushing for more character development for Big Macintosh. So why not some character development for others. Anypony can be a hero, Mare OR Stallion. Filly OR Colt.

I would like to see a male focused episode, but it would be better it was male focused for a particular reason.

 

For example, Stargate SG-1 (despite having a number of good female characters) was a largely male focused program, but there was one episode where all of the male characters fell under the influence of a female villain.  However, the mechanism she used to gain said control did not work on other females, and so the female cast (some of which were main characters, and some little more than extras) had to step up and save the day.

 

I'm not saying they should copy that plot of course, but something along similar lines that gives a legitimate reason for the males in a matriarchal society to suddenly find themselves with the fate of Equestria in their hooves, could make for a very interesting episode.
