It was discovered that several animals that Fluttershy took care of had severely wounded travelling ponies behind her back. The Equestrian Justice System decided to take action and arrested Fluttershy on charges of property damage and assault. Upon further investigation, she was also charged with unlicensed wild animal sanctuary, animal hording, and tax evasion. Instead of going to trial against a 15 year sentence, Fluttershy plead guilty to all charges and was sentenced to only 2 years of imprisonment. For her own safety, she was housed in solitary confinement.
