Gadget was swearing profusely, frantically trying find some way to fix Riley. He removed the dented panel and saw that her PCB had suffered damage, but with a little luck, Gadget just may have been able to fix it.

 

"Quick, I need that truck's radio!" he said to Redwood.

 

She tore the radio out of the truck's cabin and tossed it over to Gadget, who quickly set about taking parts out of it. He didn't have much to work with, but using the radio parts, he had at least made it so Riley wouldn't die.

Riley sparked and her eyes flicked open, "G-Gadget? what, what the hell just happened..." Riley said her voice very very hard to make out thanks to the crackling, she looked out of the cab's windscreen and saw the carnage that the two trucks had caused, there was a bright red crane on the back of one of the trucks and it happened to be upright, they could use that to flip the truck over

"We got attacked by Luddites and the truck got flipped, you took a pretty bad hit to your head, and your PCB took some damage. I was able to fix it enough so that you wouldn't die, and if I can some more parts, and I might be able to get it back in good condition."

Riley spotted the crane and using her slim figure slipped out through the broken windscreen and climbed onto the truck, she kept climbing the pile of metal and bodies until she got her hoof stuck in a tanker which then fell and forced the poor mare into the back of another truck she was trapped inside the crane being the only hope the three had

Redwood was a bit frustrated at how much Riley seemed to get into situations like these, but Gadget was always ready to help her. He took the controls of the crane and pulled up the bus Riley was trapped in. While he gave her some time to escape, he pulled a few non-essential electronic parts from the crane so he could patch her up better.

Redwood was a bit frustrated at how much Riley seemed to get into situations like these, but Gadget was always ready to help her. He took the controls of the crane and pulled up the bus Riley was trapped in. While he gave her some time to escape, he pulled a few non-essential electronic parts from the crane so he could patch her up better.

Riley taking advantage of other Riley's acrobatics lessons ran up the wall of the trailer and jumped from one side to another, the disturbance of such a large object being moved caused the trailer to begin falling backwards, Riley extended her wings and landed on the tanker's cab as the trailer blew up several other trucks

Gadget was absolutely stunned by Riley's display, and couldn't believe that he was lucky enough to have her.

 

"That was so cool," he said, still in awe.

 

Redwood wasn't as taken back as Gadget. They were wasting time, and she wanted to get going as soon as she could.

"I try..." Riley said continuing to make her way up the trucks, it was like rock climbing only rock climbing had less death factor, wasn't in the middle of a firefight and you didn't have tribals shooting at you for driving a truck, Riley eventually reached the flat bed with the crane on it.

"great... did you flip the truck back over?" Riley said taking Gadget's place in the crane, "that'll be a no..." Riley began to lower the winch on the crane and picked up her truck with it, she used the other trucks to rotate hers around and get it back on six wheels

Not wishing to hang around anymore, Redwood jumped into the passenger seat of the truck and said, "C'mon, we got road to cover."

 

"Wow, you're so amazing," said Gadget, still a bit in awe at how much Riley was capable of. He had to be the luckiest stallion around.

Not wishing to hang around anymore, Redwood jumped into the passenger seat of the truck and said, "C'mon, we got road to cover."

 

"Wow, you're so amazing," said Gadget, still a bit in awe at how much Riley was capable of. He had to be the luckiest stallion around.

"huh?" Riley said simply stepping off the trailer and parachuting down to the Truck

 

"HEY WAIT UP!" a voice Riley recognised well, it was him... the same guy who would not stop checking Riley out, "DON'T LEAVE WITH OUT ME!" he yelled running to the girls, 

 

"get in the back of the truck..." Riley said "and don't make me regret this"

"Ah gotta agree. We ain't got no real reason to be bringin' him along. Ah know he ain't gonna weigh us down too much, but ah ain't keen on sharin' our supplies and havin' to make space fer him. Takin' him seems unnecessary."

"Hey, My truck my rules, sure he's creepy but he doesn't deserve to die for it. we need to show ponies like him that they can change," more survivors came over begging to be allowed to come along. so many ponies came that they attached a tandem trailer to the truck to accommodate them

Riley put her hoof on Red's shoulder. "The water in this truck was supposed to be heading to our outpost but I think it's better off where we leave these guys... they need it..."

Ignoring what had just happened, she said, "Ah ain't just thinkin' about mahself. Ah'm thinkin' about th' Gator Teeth and th' ponies of th' Wetlands. If we wanna help 'em out, we gotta help ourselves so we can able to do it."

"Red right now we're producing a surplus of water that we don't need so we're just giving it out, that is how we help them... and those ponies back there just lost their jobs, their way of life, we need to AH!" Red clutched her chest and the truck careered off the road and into the other checkpoint

Gadget nearly had a heart attack from the surprise, and he was still breathing heavily.

"Riley, could y'all do me a favor and drive straight?" she said with a bit of annoyance at how Riley had yet again gotten into trouble.

 

Gadget nearly had a heart attack from the surprise, and he was still breathing heavily.

"Gadget... you drive..." Riley said weakly she was having a serious malfunction in her blood regulating device, which was like a pump combined with a heart, She opened her chest and began to fiddle with the wires and tubes stopping her from dying, eventually the pains subsided and Riley relaxed

"N-no... just keep me as Riley... I heard that they put other personalties in other prototypes I don't want or need one of those activating..." after the 'heart' attack incident the Truck was given a full escort back to Miami where it was allowed to return to it's point of ownership

Riley looked up and caressed Red's chest, "hey... don't you even worry about it... we don't need a coolant pump... no what we need is... each other" Riley locked lips with Red her emotions were going on tangents again tangents that made no sense whatsoever but happened
