Redwood couldn't help herself and snuck into Fire's room so she could take a few of his drawings. Although, she had much more important things to tend to, so Redwood got right to it after that.

 

The Gator Teeth had a sizable influence ever since they had taken the cruise ship, and they had garnered support from many settlements, including Fairway.

Riley stayed on the cruise ship un-able to leave because of Raiders camping further down the beach, she didn't want to risk her life just to get back to the Vault, anyway it was too cramped in there and she had spent to long in there specifically four months too long

After she had cleared up some business with the head of the tech section, a former scribe from the Brotherhood of Steel, Redwood headed back to her office. As her hoof crossed the threshold, she felt a wire snap and saw a grande drop in front of her. Redwood quickly shut the door to her office, creating a muffled boom inside, which caused several guards to come to her aid.

After she had cleared up some business with the head of the tech section, a former scribe from the Brotherhood of Steel, Redwood headed back to her office. As her hoof crossed the threshold, she felt a wire snap and saw a grande drop in front of her. Redwood quickly shut the door to her office, creating a muffled boom inside, which caused several guards to come to her aid.

Fire sensed the boom somehow and teleported to Red's aid Riley was there as well looking rather shocked, "so umm... WHAT THE FUCK!?" Riley said "what the hell was that!?" something darted across in front of her something large black and blurry an assassin most likley

"Somepony tried to kill me, that's what," said Redwood as she got up and dusted herself off. "Fire, round up Echo Squad and have them meet me in th' briefin' room in ten minutes." After she had given the order, Redwood headed down there herself.

 

It seemed like an assassination attempt was inevitable, and it looked like it happened sooner rather than later.

"Somepony tried to kill me, that's what," said Redwood as she got up and dusted herself off. "Fire, round up Echo Squad and have them meet me in th' briefin' room in ten minutes." After she had given the order, Redwood headed down there herself.

 

It seemed like an assassination attempt was inevitable, and it looked like it happened sooner rather than later.

"Yes Ma'am!" Fire saluted heading off to get the rest of Echo, Riley came along as well she needed to let Red know what she had seen, Fire and Riley came down to the briefing room and Riley plugged herself into the terminal ready to play back what she had seen

Once Echo Squad was gathered, Redwood could address them. "Now, when ah walked into mah office not twenty minutes ago, ah found a grenade bouquet waitin' fer me. And ah know that one of y'all knows that, because th' only ponies that have access to mah office besides me is Echo Squad."

Once Echo Squad was gathered, Redwood could address them. "Now, when ah walked into mah office not twenty minutes ago, ah found a grenade bouquet waitin' fer me. And ah know that one of y'all knows that, because th' only ponies that have access to mah office besides me is Echo Squad."

"Excuse me Commander Red but I have seen a possible culprit If you'd all turn your attention to the screen..." Riley began playing frame by frame the sighting of the black figure as it ran from the exploded office and jumped ship, Riley then played back the audio, a running pony and shortly after her yelling

"That ain't a whole lot to go on. Echo Squad uniforms are black, and that voice could've come from a guard, or maybe a maintenance tech."

 

There could have been any number of motivations for somepony from Echo Squad wanting to kill her. Perhaps one of them was a Militia spy, or maybe they just wanted control over the Gator Teeth.

"Umm... I have blue hair..." Riley said pointing it out, "but look right there the culprit's hair is green!" a small flick of hair stuck out from underneath the culprits hat and sure enough it was green, "Red run a test on these hair samples see if any other than mine are synthetic" Riley handed over her two clumps

Redwood handed the samples over to Echo Squad's tech and science specialist, who was able to run a quick check on them.

 

"All of these samples are synthetic, one belongs to Riley, and the others belong to Valiant and Glimmermist like you said, commander."

Echo Squad complied, leaving it down to just Redwood, Riley, Valiant Struggle, and Glimmermist. Now they just needed to find out who was responsible.

Echo Squad complied, leaving it down to just Redwood, Riley, Valiant Struggle, and Glimmermist. Now they just needed to find out who was responsible.

Riley played back her memories from when she got to the cruise ship all the way until she got to Flame's room and then skipped to her running to the Commander's office after hearing the explosion, "Until then I hadn't been into the ship and as for the skip Red can back me up with saying I couldn't have placed the bouquet"

"Riley, Run back the moment of you passing the commanders office the first time again" Valiant said, Riley ran the moment back frame by frame, "Right there! look at those knots... I for one am not the most capable when tying knots and look at the time, 5:59 when do I wake up 6:00 on the dot and I can prove that Riley is showing correct time because of this, Riley got stuck climbing some stairs which I came out to help at 6:30, she arrived at Fire's room with the Medical droid at 8:45"

Without a word, Redwood pulled out her 12.7mm pistol and shot Glimmermist in the face with no hesitation.

 

Her second in command came running in and said, "What happened? I heard a gunshot."

 

"Th' situation's been resolved, that's what," answered Redwood. "Tell Deadeye from Sierra Squad he's got a promotion."

Without a word, Redwood pulled out her 12.7mm pistol and shot Glimmermist in the face with no hesitation.

 

Her second in command came running in and said, "What happened? I heard a gunshot."

 

"Th' situation's been resolved, that's what," answered Redwood. "Tell Deadeye from Sierra Squad he's got a promotion."

Riley stood there eyes wide as the memory of the gun shot repeated over and over and over on the screen until she blew a memory chip and completely shut down, Valiant was also in the same state but without the synth goings on that had happened to Riley

"Get Gadget on here to fix up Riley too," ordered Redwood.

 

Gadget was there in no time and asked, "What happened?"

 

"Riley blew somethin' out. Ah'm not a hundered percent sure what, but somethin'."

 

Wasting no time, Gadget began to work on Riley and managed to get her functional again.

Fire still continued to stare watching the entire reel of of that day memories again and again, "THAT'S ME!" he said as the cloaked figure came from Red's office," but I'm there! next to Riley!" Fire said pointing at the screen which had two of him on it one with a Militia hat
