open Lucky Fire's First Ever Trip Into Ponyville

Lucky was hopping in circles around Rainbow Dash. "Youdidit youdidit youdidit! That was awesome!" Lucky hopped on Rainbow's back. "Hey Rainbow, you think I could pull off a Sonic Rainboom when I get older and can actually fly?", she then hopped off and looked at Rainbow with a hopeful look. Lucky ain't the shy little filly she once was, at least not right now. She'll still be wary of new ponies, but she won't be rude and she'll give her name at least. Now she isn't lonely either. She has new friends now and especially her new idol, Rainbow Dash, as her friend.

Rainbow gave a light laugh, gently bumping the Filly when she got off, putting her wing around her. "Well, of course you could squirt! You just gotta practice tons!" She grinned, happy that she was able to make another pony happy, her wings folding at her sides once more.

"Yay! Aw man.... I wanna start flying now, my papa couldn't teach me before the accident, he was a pegasus. Oh, and my mama was a unicorn..... speaking of that reminds me. I need a magic teacher. Rainbow, know anyone I could learn magic from?"

She paused, looking thoughtful for a moment before pointing a hoof inside of Sugarcube corner. "You could always ask Twilight for help. I'm sure she'd be happy to help you." She smiled, unfolding a wing to gently push the filly to the door so that she could as Twi.

midnight smirked at how happy the filly was, she had pegasai blood in her, that much was for certan, she had immiedietly warmed up to rainbow dash, but thats not too hard, she was a loveable, albiet hotheaded, pony with a heart in the right place.

midnight streached his larger wings in a light yawn, "heh, the first one ive seen physically, really."

"Ooo, Twilihgt? She seems like a nice pony. Sure I could ask her.", Lucky went inside after Rainbow's gentle nudge and went up to Twilight and sat down in front of her. Twilight looked at her and smiled. "Hey Lucky. What's up?" "I wanna ask you a question." Twilight nodded, "Go ahead." Lucky took a deep breath. "Can you be my magic teacher? I need somepony to teach me magic. Mama was going to when we came to Ponyville, but.... you already know why not. I told you the story. So, do you want to?" Twilight smiled sadly, but nodded. "Sure thing Lucky. Anything to help out a friend." Lucky beamed.

 

"Thankyou thankyou thankyou. I'm glad to have such good friends. Even though they're all waaaaay older than me." Twilight giggled. Pinkie Pie then looked up. "You know Twilight? It's weird. One minute the sweets are all tasty and good looking, the next, they're all bad and horrible looking. Don't you think it would takes weeks of being out in the open for them to get that bad?" Twilight replied, "Try months Pinkie. In many weeks time they'll only get stale, but if they're left out in the open for let's say...... maybe 5 months, they'll get almost as bad as they were." Pinkie nodded in consideration. "Ok. Also they were freshly baked this morning. I should know, I'm the one who baked them. So why did they go so bad so soon?"

 

Applejack and Rarity chimed in. "Who do you think would get a kick out of this?" they then looked at each other and grinned. There goes their simultaneous speech again. Rarity then continued. "Think girls, but of course, it may have taken me this long to figure out like you two, but really. Who would really have a laugh from this?" Twilight got an annoyed look on her face, Pinkie's face looked kinda upset. Then they said together, "Discord." Lucky tilted her head. "Who's Discord?" Pinkie looked at Divon. "I don't know, ask Divon! I knew his eyes looked familiar! I was only joking when I called him Discord when he first came in with you, but I should have taken it seriously. Discord, show your true form will ya? And stop turning my yummy treats into rotten treats."

 

Fluttershy even said, "It could hurt somepony, they could get sick." Applejack nodded. "She's right, and Discord, you're outnumbered, we all know who you are now. Get outta here now, and I thought we turned you to stone. How'd you get out?"

midnight raised an eyebrow, "discord...." he shrugged, "come on everypony, he hasnt turned ponyville upside down this time, hes just getting his kicks, its not that bad."

he looked around "i know how blasphimous i must sound, but just give him a chance this time."

Rainbow frowned, scowling slightly as she put her hoof down, glaring at the 'pony' known as Discord. "Yea! How did you get out, huh?! Do you have a spy?" She scowled, AJ's hoof immediately coming into her mouth the shush her. Blossom shook her head. "Midnight does have a point everypony...if he wanted to ruin Ponyville, he would have by now."

Everypony looked unsure. "Hmph, as long as he doesn't do anything drastic maybe......... and I repeat, we are not speaking of that one time again.", Rarity said. Everypony who was there that time Discord first came back giggled. Even Spike had his say, "You mean that rock he had you think was a big old diamond?" Rarity looked at Spike. "Spike! I thought I...." she was cut off by Applejack, "Tom the Diamond you mean?", she said trying to hold back a laugh, but failing after she finished her sentence. Lucky just looked at Rarity. "You named a diamond, or rock as these guys said?" "You never mind. I wasn't myself at the time because Discord hypnotised me or whatever it was he did to me."

<p>Lucky just nodded in understanding. The other ponies stopped laughing and looked at Discord. "Weeeellll.... I don't know. Blossom and Midnight both have a point you guys. If Discord wanted to do something bad to Ponyville, such as turning it upside down again, he would have by now. I think he just wants to have a clean slate. He'd be more of a prankster now, much like you Rainbow, or you Pinkie, and even Gilda...... when she doesn't take pranks done to her the wrong way like that one time." "Oh, don't remind me. They weren't all meant for her, she just was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and she blamed it on me when it was Ranbow who set them all up!", Pinkie said. Everypony who was there, basically Twilight and them, nodded.

Rainbow scoffed for a moment, turning her head away before remembering Tom the Diamond and she bursted into giggles, shaking her head. "Man, I can't believe you named it Tom!" She grinned, getting hushed by Rarity quickly.

 

Blossom gave another nod, trotting over to Discord and eyed him up for a moment, looking back at the others. "So it's agreed then? Nopony will do anything unless he starts to cause true..well...discord?" She arched an eyebrow. Rainbow slowly gave a nod. "I suppose it's alright.."

(ugh, you're tellin' me. my forums and net is messing up and its driving me nuts! that whole paragraph was supposed to be cut into two, but it seems the forums made it all into one)

 

Lucky nodded, Discord seemed ok to her, hay, he was nice to her. She could easily give him a chance. The others on the other hoof, they still looked unsure, but they nodded all the same. "It's settled then. Discord will be given a chance. If he does anything to bring true discord, he will be turned to stone, again.", Twilight said. The others agreed to that. Lucky then went up to Rainbow, "I wanna fly now Rainbow, can you fly with me? Or at least help me fly? I'm sorry Discord, but I really wanna get to know Rainbow, she's my idol after all. I really am sorry.", and Lucky truly did look sorry, she hated agreeing to something then changing her mind, but it's the truth, she did want to spend time with Rainbow for a little bit right now.

Rainbow chuckled, giving a nod. "Come on then! Time to start your training!" She always called practice, or just flying even, training. It helped her think she was going to become stronger, faster. She turned and trotted out the door once more, her tail swaying behind her slightly, her wings still folded at her sides.

"Bye everypony, it was nice meeting you.", Lucky said as she followed Rainbow. She was so happy right now, she started bouncing, much like Pinkie. "So, what will we do first Rainbow?"

Rainbow smirked at her enthusiasm. She liked that in a filly, it meant they would work hard. "Well, first, show me how high you can fly." She stated, her wings unfolding as they started to flap, so that she hovered in the air.

Lucky blushed. "I can't even take off from the ground yet. I think I'm a weak flier......" Then a voice behind her said, "Just like I was when I was a filly." Lucky turned around and there was Fluttershy behind her, as well as the other 5. Pinkie, Twilight with Spike, Rarity, and Applejack. "What are you guys doing here?" Rarity smiled, "We cam to see your training of course. We'd like to see how Rainbow's one and only student does."

 

Lucky smiled, then sh turned back to Rainbow Dash. She focused real hard now. She flapped her wings, yet she didn't take off from the ground. She sighed and facehoofed. "I'm hopless." Twilight put a hoof on Lucky's shoulder. "Don't give up on your first try, just try harder." Lucky nodded, then flapped her wings again, but she tried harder. This time, she actually took off from the ground, albeit only a couple inches. Lucky grinned, "See that Rainbow? I did it!"

Rainbow gave a small laugh, grinning widely. "Thatt'a girl. Now, try to fly over to where Rarity is standing. It's alright if you can't make it, but it's worth a shot. After that, I'll take you flying with you on my back! Show you what Ponyville looks like from the sky!" She beamed and AJ gave a light chuckle, shaking her head. "It's good to see Rainbow makin' new friends an' all, don't y'all agree?" She looked over at the others, raising an eyebrow.

Lucky nodded. She then looked at Rarity. Then she focused on flying over to her. Lucky's wings flapping fast, she makes it a little more than halfway over then she looses her wing power. That was tough for the first flight. Lucky looked at Rainbow, grinning. She didn't think she'd make it as far as she did. She at least expected halfway. Twilight and the others cheered for her. "That was great Lucky.", Twilight said.

 

"You go girl.", Pinkie said. "Yay.", Fluttershy said, in her small voice. Lucky facehoofed at Fluttershy, but felt good all the same at Fluttershy's cheering for her. "You were fantastic Lucky.", Rarity said. "Whoo-wee, that was some mighty fine flyin' fer a first timer.", Applejack said. Then Applejack said, "It's good to see Rainbow makin' new friends an' all, don't y'all agree?" She looked over at the others, raising an eyebrow, after chuckling at Rainbow letting Lucky fly on her back to see Ponyville at a bird's eye view. Everypony agreed.

midnight smiled, "i mean hell, you all thought i was nightmare moons kin or something, i know some of you still do." he eyed rarity twilight and applejack.

"i know im not the most trustworthy pony beacuse of my ahh..." he rubbed the back of his head, "less then sketchy history, but lets just give discord a chance eh?"

( Guys, I have school and I'm technically grounded from teh computer so it isn't really fair to me if you just keep on going when you know there's other people apart of teh rp. I don't have time to read all the new posts, esspecially on weekends when it's hard to get on. )

 

Discord didn't seem phased that they found out who he was, he knew the eyes may give it away but he was willing to take the risk. He walked out and sat at the entrance of Sugarcube, watching Rainbow teach Lucky with a slight smile. He was actually excited to teach her , but he didn't really mind that she changed her mind. He chuckled at her only getting half way but atleast she was learning.

(Le gasp. I'm sorry. Both of you. D: I just got caught up in the moment, ya know?)

 

Rainbow crouched down slightly to allow Lucky to climb onto her back before taking off, only going up high enough for her to see ponyville from birds eye view, with little risk of her getting injured.

(we didn't know you was grounded.... sowwy T_T hay, at least it ain't a bazillion pages, that would really stink on trying to catch up :/ >.< i gotta catch up 10 pages and a bunch of posts in one rp that i'll soon be joining, as soon as the creator of the rp pm's me what to do. and ikr? *to blossom's parentheses post* it don't help too when you're caught up in a good role play :/ )

 

Lucky hung on as tight as she could without hurting Rainbow. When she looked out at Ponyville, she gasped in awe. "Wooooooowwww. This is awesome! I can't wait to get actually flying for real. That'll be so cool!" When Rainbow got back down to the ground, Lucky tried to fly over to Discord because she saw Discord when she was in the air. "Hiya.", she said smiling. "So, did you see me fly for the first time? Not too bad right? I got farther than I thought I would."

 

(now lets wait for discord to post before actually moving on. i think you can post blossom, but i'm gonna have to wait.)

( Yeah I'm grounded from the computer for a month. I can reply on my cellphone but it really hurts my wrists. If I don't get one failing mark above passing I'm grounded from teh computer the entire summer. )

 

Discord was slightly surprised that she still had so much trust in him, then again she didn't know what he did in teh past. Discord got up and messed her hair again " Yeah, you did great. Maybe one day you'll be better then RainbowDash" Discord smiled.

"Better than me? She'd have to do a lot of training! But I have faith in her." Called Rainbow, glancing between the Filly and Discord. Eventually, an idea popped into her head. "Hey Lucky! Do you wanna see Cloudsdale later on?"

(yowch. that will suck having to be grounded from the comp all summer.)

 

Lucky giggled as he messed up her mane again. "I don't think anypony can be better than Rainbow Dash. She's the only pony to pull off the Sonic Rainboom right?" The others nodded. "Then yeah. Nopony can be better than Rainbow." Then she shook her head to fix her mane. Then she looked at Rainbow. "I'd love to see Cloudsdale..... um, where is Cloudsdale, and what is it? A town or something?" Fluttershy replied, "Yes, Cloudsdale is a town. It's made of all clouds and only pegasi can touch down on the clouds without going through them. Cloudsdale is right above Ponyville. You just have to look up." Lucky did just that, her jaw dropped. "Whoa! That is awesome!"
