Sparkle and Mist had walked for days, maybe months they had no concept of time in the forest, Sparkle had met a mask salesman on the way and brought her friend a pretty mask with some clocks on it 'the mask of time' he called it so called because of the magical song it played when worn that according to the salesman could re-wind or fast-forward time itself, it sat In Sparkle's saddle bag just over her wings making a funny clattering sound as she walked which she could not stop laughing at

Mist couldn't help but laugh along with Sparkle, even if he had no idea what the hell she was laughing about. Mist took a deep breath as he walked excited for the adventure ahead and the prospect of finding a bathroom. Sparkle really needed to go but was too shy to go in a bush.

Sparkle continued to laugh until the two were jumped by something, the something rummaged through the ponies travailing bags looking for anything of value, he took Sparkle's mask of time, Sparkle got up and yelled one thing "HEY!" to which the attacker ran off in surprise

Mist got up shakily as he tried to get a barring on his surroundings. Whatever hit him hit him hard. He looked around and saw Sparkle screaming at the the attacker and the attacker running away with Sparkle's mask. "Come back here," said Mist chasing after him

Sparkle took off in hot pursuit reaching the edge of a cliff before not to long, she stopped centimetres away from a horrific fall, until Mist ran into her, she fell screaming as she hurtled down and down into darkness, she landed in a pool of water to see the thief juggling the mask of time, "you want it?" he said, Sparkle ran forwards before screaming as her body was forced into a shape unlike her own

Sparkle took off in hot pursuit reaching the edge of a cliff before not to long, she stopped centimetres away from a horrific fall, until Mist ran into her, she fell screaming as she hurtled down and down into darkness, she landed in a pool of water to see the thief juggling the mask of time, "you want it?" he said, Sparkle ran forwards before screaming as her body was forced into a shape unlike her own

Mist got up and heard Sparkle screaming he ran over to her as fast as he could to make sure she was alright. However when he got to her she was no longer a pony. She had been turned into a dekuscrub. "Sparkle, what hhappened to you?" he asked holding her. He turned to the attacker, "what did you do?"

Mist got up and heard Sparkle screaming he ran over to her as fast as he could to make sure she was alright. However when he got to her she was no longer a pony. She had been turned into a dekuscrub. "Sparkle, what hhappened to you?" he asked holding her. He turned to the attacker, "what did you do?"

"hmm? what did I do? I simply freed her inner most desires..." The attacker laughed and left the room before the door closed shut behind him. Sparkle looked up at Mist, looked at the door, looked back at Mist and shrugged her shoulders having no idea how to open the door

Mist would open the the door for Sparkle but he kinda had something a bit more important to deal with right now. That being the fact that Sparkle was now a Deku Scrub, allbeit a pretty cute Deku Scrub. He had so many questions but only one was worth asking, "your deepest desire is to be a plant?"

Sparkle shook her head and tried to explain that the damned thief just read one of her childhood dreams of wondering what life would be like as a tree, the lights in the corners went out leaving Sparkle's glowing eyes as the only source of illumination

Mist sighed as he couldn't understand a word that Sparkle was trying to say. His frustration only grew as the room suddenly went dark. He sighed again and opened the door for Sparkle, "come on we'd better get after this guy if you wanna get back to normal."

Sparkle began walking down a long corridor until she nearly fell of another cliff. she let out an extremely high pitched yell and pulled herself up, there was a plant on the cliff edge, a plant that Sparkle had the strangest desire to jump into for whatever reason

Mist chuckled slightly as Sparkle looked at the weird plant. "You really should be more careful," he said with a smile, glad she was okay. He looked at that weird plant and then at Sparkle, "maybe you can use the plant to get across," suggest Mist, "or else I could fly you across."

Sparkle looked up and raised what should be an eyebrow. nevertheless she tried it and burrowed in, a few seconds later she was helicoptering across the gap on two flowers, she landed on the opposite chunk of land and waited for Mist to follow, they still had a fair bit to go

Mist was kind of surprised that the plant thing had worked. After all using a plant the way Sparkle just did seemed like something that happened in videogames. Mist shrugged as he flew over to meet Sparkle. "Let's continue," he said to her, "we gotta hurry and get you back to normal."

Sparkle simply looked up at Mist and squealed and whined a bit before making her way to the end of the room, when she did get there she looked at a small tree, it looked a lot like her and she quickly bolted heading down a long twisting spiralling corridor

Mist had no idea why Sparkle had suddenly run off. But he started to understand when he saw the dead Deku. It looked eerily similar to Sparkle's Deku form. He sighed as he ran after Sparkle, "what is this freaks game?" he said to himself as he tried to catch up to Sparkle.

Mist had no idea why Sparkle had suddenly run off. But he started to understand when he saw the dead Deku. It looked eerily similar to Sparkle's Deku form. He sighed as he ran after Sparkle, "what is this freaks game?" he said to himself as he tried to catch up to Sparkle.

Sparkle ran until she reached a big waterwheel and heard the slow timely CA-CHUNK! of cogs moving around she walked up a ramp as fast as her wooden legs would carry her, a voice spoke out to her as she went to open the big double door, "you've met with a terrible fate haven't you?" it said, she span around and looked at the mask salesman

"ah! your the two I ran into in the woods... yes I did see an Imp... he happened to take something from me... something very important to me... one of my masks... If you could get that back and that rare mask of time back I may be able to create something to bring your friend back to her original form... but I am a very... busy fellow I must leave this land in three days... now... you two have some masks to get..."

Sparkle motioned putting a mask on her face and then the number two, an old lady came up to them, "hello there dears you look lost, perhaps the great fairy can help you find your way... she lives in her fountain to the north of here, " she then continued walking slowly, Sparkle ran off again looking for this fairy

Again Mist had almost no idea what Sparkle was trying to say and frankly it was starting to get on his nerves. But if he had to guess he would say it had something to do with the Mask of Time. But if anyone knew what was happening it was probably the Great Fairy, So MIst ran after Sparkle.

Sparkle ran into the shrine and stopped, there was no great fairy just a bunch of little faries all floating around, Sparkle counted them and ran off they were one short of helping the massive fairy and hopefully put Sparkle back in her old body again
