So, maybe that was what she meant to do.

 

The dragon seems to be dying. Pretty quickly, at that. The fox stands back from the dragon in case it decides to try a last-minute taking-you-out-with-me attack. There is nothing he can do now except wait. He cannot assist in getting Moon out.

 

finally she finds the main stomach, as the dragon falls to the ground, flying up the throat she can feel it hit the ground, she pops her head out of its mouth "hey" she says all chill like

 

She’s alive! And it looks like unharmed. How did that happen? No point in worrying about that question now. She’s alive!

 

He looks around. Overall, he expected their first adventure to end far worse than this, even if they won.

"sorry" she says kissing him "dose that help?"

"a little" he said hugging her it seemed as if he'd never let go

"well, the dragon is dead" she says picking up the fire orb "on, to the next island"

"already that went by so fast" when they leave the cane it is now night "or mabye it was longer then I thought"

The fox looks at the dragon. He still cannot believe it. They managed to defeat that! And he managed to help by blinding it!

 

Moon seems pretty casual about the achievement, all told.

 

The fox finds himself feeling rather crestfallen once he puts the clues together and realizes that the dragons here might not be nearly as strong and feared as they are where he is from.

 

The fox follows the group out and looks around. Wow, were they really in there that long? Or… is this a night brought on by unnatural forces?

moon climes in the boat, suddenly a flash back comes to her it is of her mother, she is singing to her "the wind is going north, so now you must go forth, to find whats right you must sail into the night" returning to reality she yells "i know where we have to go!"

That was fast!

 

With that, the fox is convinced, with absolute certainty: This group was Chosen. They are being guided by destiny.

 

The fox hops into the boat, gazing at the night sky. Is it him or does the night appear much more… purple than it did back home. Is this normal for this place? He would suspect this as proof that the night is unnatural, except that the others do not seem so worried about it. He wonders what makes the sky purple here at night when it is no such color back home. The night also seems brighter here to him.

 

It is getting to the point where the fox is beginning to wonder if he is even on the same planet.

"really we're!" he said exited

moon sings the next part of the song to him

[GreenWind 70]

"Ok well head out tommarow to night be sleep" he said laying down

[jaggy10 26]

"good, i'm beat" she falls down next to song and snuggles into his arms quickly she falls into a happy sleep of song and her

Comforted by moons warmth he held her in his arms and soon fell asleep too

The fox continues gazing up toward the stars.

 

Today has been a big day. Legendary or not, the dragons here are at least powerful and they have managed to take one down. They already have an orb on the first day of the adventure. They are clearly chosen.

 

He cannot help but feel, though, that his attack on the dragon was a bit of a lucky shot. He must hope, though, that it was skill, rather than luck, for luck can run dry.

 

Though this adventure has not fully been fitting into a traditional storyline structure, he still cannot help but think of things in such a context, at least to some degree. If it does fit even slightly, the main worry is that their challenges will grow stronger by far. Hopefully, the group themselves will grow stronger, as well.

 

Is he really going to become stronger? He can see it for the others, but how can he possibly gain strength? There are no martial arts techniques for him to perfect, no weapons for him to master, no voice to cast spells with, not even any psychic powers to focus. He has nothing.

 

The fox sighs. He must have been destined to be here for some reason, right? He shakes his head in confusion. He cannot think too hard on this right now. Now is a time for sleep. And so, the fox lays down to go to sleep, though it does not come easily this night.

moon is awaken by the blinding light of the sun, she looks around evertone is still asleep, she nuges song "wake up" she says softly into his ear

He squirms around as if looking for a blanket "uh what?" he say up slowly "Hey Moon"

she yawns "good moring" than kisses him on the forehead

[GreenWind 70]

He rubs the sleep away from his eyes "So did you sleep well?" he asked still in a tired tone

"fine. you?" she flys to the top of a tree and takes down some coconuts

"Great Becuase you were there" he said in a flirty voice

she grabs songs sword "oh was i?" useing the sword she slices the coconuts in haft "and what was this dream about?"

"it wasnt a dream" he said putting his hoves around her from behind

looking up into his eyes she kisses him on the lips "it will no longer be a dream to me" she says

He holds her tighter "Me too" he says laying his head on one of her shoulders
