"Hm. What's this?" Flicker looked curiously at a separate control box with several settings which could be added and turned off as desired. Squirrels. Wolves. Cats. Birds. Ferociousness. Add claws. Add sharp teeth. Quantity: "So... this has the ability to summon wild animals?" She said with a sadistic smile. "I could use this... Let's see what happens." Flickerfire set the switch to "Squirrels", turned on "Ferociousness", then switched on "Add claws". "Hmmm.... quantity? Just one." After setting it to one, she tapped a hoof right along the edge of the woods from the Cornuocopia. The tiny, not so menacing mutt squirrel darted towards the metal horn, looking for something to bite.

The tiny beast hissed as it darted for Splinter. Its claws sprung from its tiny paws, ready to slice anything in its path. The squirrel jumped in Splinter's direction.

Splinter crated a force field made of numbers (Apparently...). ''This isn't going to hold any longer... Have any ideas?'' Said Splinter in a relaxed tone.

The squirrel clawed at the force field, becoming more and more ferocious and infuriated because something was in the way. It paused, then turned its head at Lockhart and growled.

The axe flew at the mutt, instantly slicing through its torso, exposing its insides to the open air. The beast fell over, letting out one final squeak. Flickerfire was watching the screen and clapping her hooves. "Enjoy your free meal, kiddies." she said to herself with a snicker. "There will be plenty more. And they'll be more ferocious."

"Just analyzing" Lockhart said, grinning "Besides, I helped in the end."

Haste looked at the squirrels, she quickly signaled her ally to follow her, both already packed with their weapons, and anything else they'd need to survive, as both of them were pegasi, they easily avoided touching the grounds, and avoiding the squirrels

Flickerfire was just playing with buttons now, sending flesh-hungry birds and squirrels into the woods in quantities of twenty or more. A few three or so birds lost their way from their flock and made their way to the Cornucopia, searching for their meal.

"Wait, the meat could be poisonous" Diamond said. she paused and hushed everyone. "Look!" she whispered silently. She pointed upwards. A ton of mutt-birds were above them. "What so we do?" she asked.

Flickerfire was enjoying taking control already. She was enjoying herself, and almost didn't notice another separate box. Gasp.... is that... Flicker flicked a switch, dotted a few branches in the forest, and flicked the switch back off. Those empty branches now had nests in them. The nests were home to one of the deadliest muttations ever devised by the Capitol: the tracker jacker. "There weren't any nests in the arena, so I placed a few here and there. Oh! This will be fun!"

Haste looked at the tracker jackers she stopped not even knowing how to scream for a second "Wuaahh..ahhh... AHHH....AHHHH" she choked out now flapping her wings flying faster, her ally following behind, "We got to find some sort of a shelter" she shouted, he nodded back and flew faster now both of them further deeper inside the forest...
