Need help with a species!

So! I need help. 

Note this is not to cause any problems,it's just so I can solve something.

Recently a friend of mine gave me her species known as Shell tail ponies. They are (for now) "closed species". 
So basically I'm the new owner and she co owns them.

I have posted an adopt saying they are closed in multiple groups. 
One of them so far say I might not be able to close them since they have seen shell ponies or ponieswith a shell on their butt or something.
Of course me being an owner of another Closed species which had no complains for a year, I made my research and so far I can't find anything which are species,that matches the same design, nothing.... I searched on google,deviantart and other places.

I have asked for pictures but never given since no one had any.
I just want to find out if they do exist and if so if they are similar to these designs or not.
I want to know if the traits count a lot as well since traits sometimes can close something (Seen it around,if not my apologies)
So if anyone has images or links ,or know anything about species that are like this please do inform me so I can discuss it with the previous owner.
