Disneys robin hood

Doe anyone else think the Sheriff of Nottingham in this movie is the main villain rather then Prince John? They say the Prince is but I have to disagree I think it is the Sheriff. Also do you guys think the Sheriff is a rather weak villain in this movie though as far as fighting goes. I already know Prince John is super weak and would get his butt kicked by Robin hood in a fight anyday but the Sheriff is weak for how large he is. Little John I even think could take Robin Hood in a fight. What is everyone's thoughts on this?

The sheriff is physically bigger and more imposing than Prince John, so by that account I guess he'd be a bit more threatening. But neither are exactly major adversaries. Prince John has power of authority and that gives him rank, but he's a sniveling worm too so that oversized crown is all he's got and it's mostly for show. The sheriff has his men to help him out but that's not exactly a big factor either. If there were to be a direct fight between the Sheriff and Prince John I'd put my money on the sheriff. But the deciding factor, at least where Robin Hood and his band are concerned, is what authority and resources Prince John can wield against them. Compared to King Richard, John is nothing, but in Richard's absence John manages to rule a kingdom with little resistance (except for Robin of course). So technically, Prince John is the guy at the top of the pecking order.

The Sheriff would have beaten Prince John I think. How bout Friar tuck? You think he could take Prince John in a fight or King Richard or the Sheriff?
