After it got cut Maple lept up. "Thanks. I'll go get the..." Maple opened the door and Luna quickly ran in tackling Maple. "Others."

Luna quickly stood up and ran over hugging Jack. "Oh my gosh are you ok? I was so worried about you."

Maple recovered from being flattened by Luna "I'm ok thanks for asking."

Luna looked over and laughed "Oh sorry Maple!"

"I am alright, to some extent. It was pretty scary when Chrysalis was the one who woke me up. I had expected she was going to kill me, but instead, she came pleading for forgiveness and stuff. But good thing she went away, she had already got Maple by surprise and I was out in the open." Jack said as he hugged her back.

"But i know where the temple is, or atleast where its most precise location is, but during that vision, i found out that someone of my race is still in Equestra somewhere. I have a feeling this very person was the one who foretold the prophecy to me, because she even me a way to contact her. Tough i don't really understand why she told me this method, because it turns this method works the same as when Celestia sends magical letters to others, but i have no idea how to receive or sent those." Jack said.

"That's wonderful news! Luna said lifting him gently into the air "The temple thing not the chrysalis coming in here thing."

Maple Looked at Luna and smiled. "It's mostly weird because she thought if Jack would help her, help us. But if it was that important she would have went to you or your sister first. Honestly..." She started to brush her mane with her hoof. "I kinda wanted to trust her she seemed a little desprate." Maple said concidering "I probably would've helped if she hadn't knocked me unconscious before hand."

Woody heard about the magical letters thing, He had arrived in the room via time stop again. "Letters like that are sent by burning them with dragon fire. It sends it via the name it's addressed to. I could help you with that."

Jack smiled at Luna.

"It is, though she wanted to talk to either you or Celestia, because you 2 are the leaders of Equestria after all. To be honest i did not know why she wanted to contact you 2 directly like that, but it i think it has to do with something of high importance, i know for a fact that some of my race prefer to discuss these things with either royalty or people with a high status. If one of you ends up writing letters or talking to hear, please do keep it formal, people like her prefer respect in such situations." Jack said.

Woody started to look a bit sick "Uhh guys I..." He bruped really loudly and a scroll appeared from a bit of fire. Woody gasped "I can do that?! Uggh It's gross feeling"

Luna looked at it "Well My guess is it's because you're half-dragon." Luna said looking at his legs and tail. She opened the letter. And began to read it

Maple, while she read it walked over to Woody "That's great that you can do that! Now I can get letters from you instead of spike." She laughed but was being serious.

*Dear rulers of the Sun and the Moon,

It is a pleasure to make acquaintance with beings such you, but dire times have called us forth.

I, on behalf of the Hopeful Exiles, would like to ask to ask for a meeting.

It is of great importance that you answer our call, the fate of Equestria is still in peril.

Luna finished reading and looked at jack "Right so it says that the Leader of the Hopeful exiles wants to meet up with me and my sister." She grabbed her writing utensils and parchment via her magic and wrote a letter.

Dear, Leader of the Hopeful exiles.

Times are dire indeed, Both me and my sister are aware of equestria's problem having faced it head one.

Trusting that this will help better both of our groups, We accept your idea of a meeting but will come with a guard, this is merely a precaution and we ask for your forgiveness and understanding.

-Sighed,

The princess of the Moon.

She rolled the scroll up, put the royal seal on it, and handed it to Woody, who reluctantly tried to blow fire onto it. It was a green color the same as his eyes rather than the orangeish yellow of embers. The letter disappeared into mid-air and woody smiled "It's sent!"

"Hmm, it is not of a group I have heard of before, but this may have been one that has been hiding from most of the outside dangers," Jack said.

Suddenly they got a reply

Guardian of the Night,

We are pleased to hear your acceptance, I would like to ask which location is suitable for the meeting.

Though we would like to know as fast as possible, the great enemy marches with its step as time dawns near.

The young child was wondering for the location of the Equestrian Temple, this meeting for part that reason.

Woody had just burped up another scroll "Ugh how does spike get used to that." He said frailly. "It feels so weird. I need to eat something." He said as he left the room for a bit.

Luna started to write again.

Dear Leader of Hopeful exiles,

We are pleased that you are willing to aid Equestria- She stopped. She tapped the feather against her cheek "I can't think of anywhere safe we could safely meet them..."

Maple looked distrusting "How do we know though... Jack doesn't even know who they are and the timing on these letters seems a bit odd." She started moving a bit to just not stand still.

"We're running out of options here. I asked to come guarded and they where ok with that so..." She continued writing We can meet in ponyville the town by the mountian with the castle on it. It is abandoned but suitable for this meeting. We await your response."

Sighed-

The Princess of the Moon. She waited for Woody to return. "Jack... Do you trust them?"

"To be honest my trust is a little mixed, from one side it seems a bit odd that she contacts us out of nowhere but at the same time... When I was having the vision, I could feel her energy, an enemy would never openly do this method to strangers, so I have a good feeling about her, but caution is never too much." Jack said

Suddenly another scroll appeared.

Dear Princess,

We are pleased to hear your location, but there is a slight problem.

I cannot move out like any of you, as I am no longer among you, but a mere fragment of what that used to be.

As of now, I am confined to an inanimate object, or rather artefact if you may call it that.

I could warp my confinement to the edge of the place you call the Everfree, but i can't further than that.

It would be appreciated if you could send one of your soldiers to gather us for the meeting.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but some things are beyond my power to control.

Woody kept his muzzle closed not liking this whole letter thing. 

Maple offered to be the one to go get the inanimate person. Luna wrote another letter

Dear Leader of the Hopeful exiles,

I am sending my most trusted Captain towords the edge of everfree now known as Maple Bat. She will serve as both my guard and your escort. See you soon.

"Here you go Woody send this last letter." Luna said. He nodded and blew green fire onto it sending it

"An inanimate object? I think I know what she meant by that. At least i hope."

"Princess Luna, should I come with you as well? It would make for an interesting opportunity to meet this person." Jack asked

[Maple Bat 3,568]

"We think you should. They mentioned you in particular so I deem it to be best." Luna said valorously. "Maple go get that person we'll meet you there. Woody stay with us in case we get another letter."

Maple nodded "Yes ma'am." She walked out of the room still worried this was a trap reluctantly she flew off to go find this person.

Woody reluctantly nodded and gripped his stomach "I hope we don't get anymore I don't think I keep my lunch down much longer..."

"I think the person we are going to meet is not alive but her soul confined to an artefact, that would be my best explanation since she has never been found before. But despite being confined to such a thing, her power still works, that is the benefit that our souls generate our magic." Jack explained.

Luna started to head out the door followed by Woody "Do you think That Equestrian souls could be like that." The dragonequus asked touching his artifact necklace. "I think I like that Idea. However I'm betting it's only your souls." He kept examining the artifact looking at it closely wonder if there was a bigger reason why Jack gave it to him.

Luna looked at Woody. "I don't know. Magic here in our world seems to be very similar to theirs Woodland I wouldn't be surprised if we do have similar traits." She walked into a wall because she wasn't looking where she was going. Woody laughed. "Ignore that." Luna said lightly offended.

"Equestrian souls could work like that, only thing is that they won't be able to use their magic once inside such an artefact, but not only Eldritch souls can be preserved, Terran and Raukan souls are also capable of being stored like that."

He then looked at Luna.

"Luna, is it alright if I sit on your back when we go to the meeting? It is important that i am there because our guest might not understand all the Equestrian terms as of yet, i only knew them because i read a lot of books about Equestria when i first arrived here." Jack said.

Woody stopped looking at it "Good to know ahead of time." Woody said. "Hope I don't need to find out."

Luna looked at jack a bit confused "What sort of terms need translation? I'd like to know because I won't see how you wouldn't know them." She being procautions "If none else You can translate for me."

"Well, she does know how to talk with us, but there might be moments where she will have to us with memories or image based telepathy, because this how some of our kind communicate once a situation is to hard to explain with words, they think very complicated after all." Jack.

Suddenly a voice popped in Maple's head.

"I feel you near Child, speak to me." Said a female voice, it sounded alot like a tone Celestia would use, but alot more mystic and hint of ethereal tone behind it.

"Alright then." Luna said happily You can join me in this meeting!" She picked up jack placing him on her back she would have no problem flying with him there.

Woody looked around "I don't think we'll be getting anymore letters. If we do it'll get to you." He left urgently as if eh had something important to do.

Maple stopped flying forward hovering in mid air. She waited for a second the only sound she heard was the beating of her wings as she flew. "H... Hello?" She asked nothing confused about the whole situation.

"Do not be frightened, I am the one you are currently seeking for."

"Search the ground, and feel the cold radiation of my energies, your nocturnal senses are more powerful than you believe them to be." The voice said in her head.

At the mention of her sense she flinched Nocturnal senses? She thought Like my night vision?, She realized there was a better question at hand here "Wait... So can you see me right now Miss, or do you just know what's going through my head?" She calmly said aloud landing near the edge of the forest walking along it.

"I cannot see you, but I can feel your movements and vibrations through the air, it moves like an entity swirling through an endless ocean."

"Move 5 steps ahead, then fly up to the nearest tree, and you will find your objective." The voice said in her head, referring to herself as the objective.

Maple was reluctant "Alright Miss I've got it." She did as the voice told her moving forward about 5 steps walking right up to a tree she picked herself up off the ground and flew around the tree looking for something abnormal in it's branches.

In the branches was an amulet, it was in a pretty weird shape, being created from a crystal like material, but the centre was a blue type of crystal, glowing intensely.

"You are doing good young one, but we must head to our desired location, we cannot stay in the open for too long." The voice said to her.

Maple quickly grabbed the amulet "Yes ma'am." She darted over towards ponyville. It wasn't too far away from where she was Luna was already there waiting for her she could tell from the distance. "Could I get you name Miss?" She asked while heading over to Luna.
