Ember stared at him, not sure what he was trying to say "Look... Just stop following us. That's it. Got it," She demanded angrily "Don't want to hurt anyone but if they pose a threat then I will." She then descended to the ground next to Festus. "You heard of that tournament right Festus? I was thinking of entering it myself."

"It wouldn't be fair then." Festus laughed "You'd beat all of them."

Ember chuckled too "I would... That means I should sign up right away. Let's head that way."

The masked figure looked at them leaving, but even though his question hasn't been answered, it had instead been solved indirectly, as his original intention of the question was regarding the tournament.

Jack looked at Luna.

"Perhaps we should go to where the tournament is going to be held? It should be starting in around an hour." Jack asked her.

Luna looked at him "Sure why not. I'm interested to learn of these people too including their strengths and weaknesses mostly of combat." Luna quickly stood up and started heading that way.

When Ember got there she saw the two siblings, "Maple?" Ember said puzzled "Entering yourself? What about Woody, He seems to hurt"

Maple nodded to ember "I am, but Woody's only here to spectate... Which I understand since he's still hurt."

When everyone arrived, it was pretty busy.

There was a massive ring that was surrounded by a big sand field and on further away from it where tribunes circled around the arena itself.

Karthspire was waiting with a few other participants in the corner.

"Seems everyone is arriving, but no sign of Evelyn yet." Zukir muttered to Karthspire.

"Don't worry, she will arrive, she has probably been preparing alot." Karthspire.

"Of that, I have no doubt, but what of that last participant, do you really think it's a good idea if he is going to participate with an entire audience?" zukir said back with a hint of concern.

"Don't worry, he will suppress himself, as strong as anyone here is, it's unlikely it would get that far." Karthspire said.

Evelyn arrived just a while after Ember and Maple did. "Well, I see the fangirl decided to fight. You think you can keep up?"

"Oh belive me I really was born ready for this." Ember assured "I fear no one and if we meet on the field of battle I won't be pulling any punches."

"And what about you robot?" Evelyn continued "There are those here who will want to completely dismantle you since it doesn't count as killing as long as the 'core' if yours is still intact."

Maple laughed in responce "Good luck to those who try! I didn't last long as I did without being as strong as I am!"

Evelyn sighed "Even though most of it is mechnical I belive it. Though you may want to fight like your mother depended on it because she might." The 'dragon' provoked.

"Alright, that is enough, we should get things started." Karthspire said calmly.

"We have in total 8 participants, with our standing champion remaining for the end, and since this is a competition, at the beginning your opponent will be selected randomly, this will go on as the count gets lower and lower from the matches that will be held until only 2 participants remain for the finals. Before we begin, are there any questions?" Karthspire asked to everyone.

There was nothing said for a while.

Then Maple added something "Yea! One question!" She chuckled "Who's first?

After she said that Woody nodded to Maple "Good luck sister. Festus was it? Let's get off the fighting area."

Festus nodded to the dragonequus. "Alright, Good luck Ember."

Luna arrived and walked next to Woody noticing something instantly "Good heavens! What happened to your eye?"

"Nothing you need to worry about princess Luna" Woody calmly replied

"First up is Maple and Sebastian, take your positions." Karthspire said.

"And remember, weapons are allowed, it will be your own responsibility to not accendently murdering your opponents, though I don't expect any of you to let this happen, it should still be told, for safety reasons." Karthspire stated.

Sebastian was a white terran, he has pretty thin but looked relatively strong, he was equipped with a mace that had barbed wires equipped, went into the ring, and was waiting for Maple to enter.

Maple was intimidated by the mace he had "Oh... that's gonna hurt if it hits..." Maple quitely said to herslef stepping into the ring herself she took a battle stance getting low in case the opponent she was against rushed her quickly, the claws flipped out of her hooves as well so she wasn't disarmed now. She was ready for a fight.

Woody sat down and watched Maple carefully "I hope she doesn't get herself to hurt I mean she'll only back down when she's hurt enough but now she can't feel pain so where does that line lie."

"Begin!" Sounded across the arena.

Sebastian as watching Maple carefully, he started walking around her from a safe distance, looking for an opening to her as he was doing so, waiting for her to make a move.

It was apparent that he was also using this as a form of intimidation.

Maple didn't move, she just kept watching him, After a second of him walking he got as close to the edge as he was going to get so Maple opened her wings and dashed right at Sebastian aiming to disarm her foe with the claws.

Sebastian's eyes widened at Maple's sudden charge, he jumped to the side quickly and tried to this opportunity to attack at Maple's side, however, this would prove to be hard as Maple had been going at a fast speed.

When Sebastion swung he was going to end up short so Maple hooked onto the weapon with her back hoofs claws and pulled it unfortunately not quite disarming him meaning Maple went from a fast speed to no speed at all thankfully nothing too bad happened as she landed awkwardly on her front hooves and stumbled a bit but she wasn't nessisarly leaving an opening.

Sebastian stumbled back by Maple's sudden trick, he almost lost his balance but quickly planted his back foot on the edge of the ring to make sure he would not fall off.

As he saw no opening in her, he decided to sprint straight at her, but not showing any particular trick yet, once again waiting for her to make a move unless he would come to close by that time as he was sprinting straight towards her.

Maple waited until her opponent was almost point blank to her then she lept as high as she could to avoid Sebastion and go over him she then came down and slashed, somewhat gently across his back and moved back quickly to avoid any form of counter-attack. "That all you got?" She taunted

Sabastian grunted a bit as he got slashed, he felt on his back and felt blood.

He, however, didn't nessecarly respond to Maple's taunt, for most warriors, he was rather cool-headed as he did not let temper or anger get the better of him, he instead was staring at her for a bit, trying to come up with a good strategy.

As he finally came up with something, he started to slowly walk towards her in a combat and aware type of walk, holding his weapon ready, but also constantly keeping his eyes on her, this way if she would attack again, he would perform a swift counter-attack.

Maple, once again dashed at Sebastion she sun in mid-air using her back hoof to attack his arm.

Woody started talking with Maple via psychic link 'Maple! What are you doing! That's reckless!'

Maple responded quickly 'Don't worry I got this.'

Sebastian got hit straight in the arm where he was holding his weapon, making it drop from the impact, but during that attack, he had time enough grab hold of Maple's other back hoof with his left hand before she could go further, although it was a bit difficult as he started sliding over the ground from Maple's weight, being to heavy for him to hold her back, as he was slowly being dragged, they were both getting close to the edge of the ring eventually.

Maple realized what he was doing and activated her jets to move backwards trying to free herself from Sebastions hold. 

'Told ya Maple' Woody said with a smug look on his face

'Shut up I can handle this' Maple said angrily. 'Just you watch.'

Sebastian was trying to hold on to Maple but because of the sudden force from the jet engines he was thrown straight out of the ring and crashed into the sand.

"Sebastian is ring out, Maple has won this match!" Karthspire declared.

On which, the crowd started cheering.

As Maple had been won this match, the next participants were called.

"The next participating for this match are Vasha and Evelyn, please enter the ring." Karthspire called out

Vasha was an orange Raukan female, and was pretty thin as well, but was very athletic and fast, and she also was equipped with 2 swords, the swords itself had an Egyptian style to it.

Vasha climbed onto the ring and was holding the swords in particular pose.

She had a grin on her face.

Evelyn sighed as she watched Maple fight. Sure knocking her opponent out of the ring was a good strategy but the way she did it bothered her, Jets inside her wings... "Whatever," She said to herself, I can beat her..." She stepped up to the ring "That's quite the grin for someone who's going to lose." She shouted to her opponent.

"That shall remain to be seen in the end." Vasha said

She stared at her opponent.

"Begin!" Was echoed throughout the arena.

Vasha started charging straight at Evelyn with a good amount of speed as her 2 swords were being held side ways.

Evelyn moved back a bit before flying into the air passing over Vasha spraying ice below her freeing the ground to freeze her foes feet. Hopefully long enough for her to counter-attack as she turned in the air and swooped down reading her claws to swipe across her foe's chest.

Vasha wasted no time as she used her left sword to take quick but strong stabs into the ice, trying to free herself from it.

But while she was doing this, she was holding her right sword steady, intending to stab Evelyn whenever she would try to get close.

Evelyn attacked quickly slashing her opponent quickly before passing through them she turn in midair after she passed and breather fire atop the ice and claw hit the fire melted the ice so that was a good thing for Vasha but she had already taken considerable damage as it was
