Vasha wasted no time after she was freed, she made a running start and then threw her right blade straight at Evelyn, the blade slashed across her back. While it was just a scratch and it did not to much damage, it did have the desired effect as it made her stumble a bit in the air.

After stumbling in midair Evelyn lost her rhythmic beat of wings and fell landing on the ground inside the arena "Well come on then!" She roared "If that's how you're gonna be then get over here." She wait for her opponent to make a swing at her not sure what to do next, She'd think of something.

Vasha shifted her blade into her right and stared at her opponent.

"You could either forfeit or get hurt, the choice is yours though, because I never hold back." Vasha said as she was charging towards Evelyn again, this time trying to hit her with a sideways slash.

"As if I'd forfeit!" Evelyn returned, When Vasha swung Evelyn smiled, She stopped the blade with her claws slamming it into the ground and she punched Vasha straight in the chest full force. The attack was more to sperate her from the weapon rather than damage her, which she hoped would work.

Vasha was thrown a pretty far distance away, almost to the other side of the ring.

She quickly a handstand to land, but she cursed under her breath as she had lost her weapon.

In fact, she did not know what to do.

Because she knew she wouldn't have much of a chance against a dragon type of opponent with her bare fist.

She was using this time to come up with a new plan and recover a bit at the same time.

Evelyn tossed the weapon outside the ring. "Well you may be good with those swords of yours but I'm sure I'm better." She laughed "Just go ahead and forfeit. It'll hurt much less that way." She didn't let her guard down however for how close to the edge she was it wasn't something she could afford now.

Vasha stood there, she had a plan in mind but she was aware it would barely do anything, but if it would at least do something, she would be satisfied with it.

"I may not have a good chance of winning, but I am going to make the last moments worthwhile."

She started charging once again, but when she got close, she jumped straight on Evelyn's head, and clenched both fist together as she slammed hard into Evelyn's head with all the force her muscles could muster, which was a considerable amount of the adrenaline that Vasha had gained during the fight when Evelyn had slashed her across the chest.

The attack hit Causing her to lose footing for a second "Good one. See ya!" Evelyn said as she spun quickly hitting her opponent with her tail with the intent of knocking them out of the ring.

Luna had been watched the whole fight until now she was quiet "She's pretty strong." She commented breaking the silence between the three "She's defiantly well trained..."

Vasha got slammed out of the ring and landed straight into the sand.

"Vasha has gotten a ring out, which means Evelyn has won the match." Karthspire said, and another moment of cheering came from the crowd.

"Next up will be, Ember against Betamor, this is going to be a very interesting match." he said with a hint of hidden enjoyment.

Betamor was also a Raukan but had some pretty strong muscles, but he was also still normal size, which means he would not be slowed down by that strength.

He stepped the ring as he drew some sort of war axe, only this one was crafted from some sort of material that had a similar colour to gold.

Indeed, Maple was able to finish the match a more quickly but Evelyn was able to take on those attacks without suffering much damage, and a rather fast recovery speed at that too." Jack said, impressed how the matches were going so far.

Ember looked at her foe and grabbed a sword from her things and drew her knife before she lept into the ring.

Festus was on the edge of his seat already, he was waiting for this match so he could learn from Ember's fighting  

Woody looked at Jack, "Well finishing a fight quickly is a better idea so you avoid injury entirely, Just a better strategy in my opinion." He finished with a shrug. "Just my opinion though."

"Indeed, but there are some who get an actual boost from pain or injuries, infact.. Embers opponent might actually use this advantage, watch the fight closely and you will see what I mean." Jack said as he was watching closely.

Betamor was patiently waiting for the start sign to be given.

"Begin!" rang across the arena

Betamor was inspecting Ember closely, while he did not have a specific battle stance, he was actually instead staring at her, but he did stand ready.

Ember wasted no time she ran at her opponent holding the knife tightly she held it aimed at the axe ready to block a swing with the knife but she also swung with her sword too aiming at the foes stomach.

"What's she doing?" Woody said curious "She's got no defence against counterattack now... this'll hurt..." He braced to see the worst.

Betamor noticed her intention and quickly used his war axe to block the strike of the sword that was aimed for his stomach, but he had his own intention as that war axe had a special design which allowed it to block against enemy melee weapons with some sort of hook shape that was on the opposite side of the axe blade.

  The 2 weapon clashed together against each other, but with a heap of strength, Betamor forced his weapon upwards, causing the 2 clashing weapons to lose the grip on each other, which gave him a slight opening as he tried to strike directly at Embers shoulder with his war axe.

Ember quickly moved the knife defensively, as she had planned to do, it didn't block the full force of the strike however as the axe hit her just slightly but still hurt she sidestepped quickly driving the knife towards the raukans hand holding the axe moving the sword to his chest at the same time.

Betamor got hurt by Ember's attack on his hand, which made him drop the axe for a moment, but then he Ember's sword going straight for his chest, he tried to dodge it quickly but he had been too late for a fraction as her sword slashes straight past the very left side of his chest, creating a pretty wide cut, but not that deep.

He, however, did not let the pain deter him as he performed a sweep kick straight for her feet which made her fall off balance, he used this opportunity to quickly grab his axe and tried to strike her again, this time aiming for her midsection.

Ember, when she lost balance, had an idea she lept into the air using her wing slightly flip over the axe after which she stepped towards  Betamor and stabbed with both of her weapons stepping into the attack with as much force as she could muster.

Betamor had to react insanely fast in order to prevent Ember from getting a fatal blow on him with her attack.

He quickly did a 180 degree whirlwind slash with his attack, but instead of it heading for Ember it was used to intercept the weapons itself before they would go straight into his body, while they didn't knock the weapons out of her hands, it was meant to force Ember's weapons in the other direction, but even this method worked not as well because from the amount of force she had used in her attack. Wich only caused the weapons to miss its target by a very slight amount, in which he quickly walked a bit backwards in order to gain distance.

'She is good, having both such strength and agility is a strong trait, but the way she attacks and defends is unique on its own, which makes her dangerous, it's been long since I had such a dedicated opponent.' he thought with a slight hint of enjoyment.

"It is as I though, they are currently evenly matched to each other, but after a while, things will turn out different if none of them gains an edge. Ember has to watch out with dragging this fight out as Betamor will gain an advantage from the pain that has been inflicted on him, at first it will be only a slight advantage, but it's a very efficient advantage at that." Jack noted.

'He's smarter than I thought...' Ember thought 'Let me try a new attack strategy.' Ember flew up into the air and threw her knife she then moved left and dashed towards her opponent heading from his right across his body to his left side.

"And... there goes Ember's defense." Woody said seeing a flash of light from the thrown dagger "Ember needs to watch out now."

Betamor raised an eyebrow at Ember's sudden tactic.

'An unexpected and perhaps smart tactic, but something I can counter easily, perhaps she is using this method to study my reaction methods? Who knows.'  he thought.

Instead of trying to intercept both Ember and the dagger, he instead used a more direct method as he jumped straight into Ember, tackling her to the ground, pinning her arms and legs as he looked her straight into eyes.

But his eyes did show a bit of an surprise, instead of it being a glare or an angry look, it instead showed something pretty interesting, a look of respect, but that did not waver his very focused and stern look on his face as he was not dropping his focus for even a mere second.

Ember forced herself out of the pin, and rolled backwards switching it to where she was pining Betamor "You're pretty good." She said quietly "Not sure if I want to harm you at this point."

Woody watched what was happening a bit confused, he figured ember would have at least tried to stab him again. "Jack I know somethings happening but I can't tell what... What do you see?"

"I have to say the same about you. How about we do without weapons and use our bodies as our weapons? Then we can both test our true strength and give the audience a show they will never forget." Betamor said.

To prove this, he literally threw his axe out of the ring with the hand he had been able to some move somewhat despite being pinned to the ground.

"It's an interesting Woody, they are showing a sign of respect for either other, both are very skilled in combat and enjoy competition or proving their strength, I had this suspicion the moment they started trading blows," Jack said with a small smile.

Ember smiled back and threw her sword out of the ring too. She moved backwards letting Betamor stand up "Yea... sounds like a good idea."

Woody was squinting to see what was happening it was obvious he was having a hard time trying to make out what was happening He sighed audibly out of annoyance. "Are they... Walking away from each other?"

"Yes, but for a reason, Raukan has an tradition for fighting in such styles, and most of all see honour in such things, its a sign of respect for them. And dragons from Equestria have always been prideful from what I could gather, what happens when you mix 2 of those? This." Jack said, knowing why they were doing this.

Betamor rolled back a bit and stood up to, he then took a fighting stance and was focusing on her again, waiting for her to make a move.

 

Karthspire couldn't help but smirk at these turn of events.

Ember readied herself for hand to hand. She slowly approached Betamor once she closed some distance she rushed him attacking with an open palm strike not aimed at anything in particular as it was a distraction for the following kick to the jaw.

Maple decided to sit with Woody "How can you see the fight from here?"

"I can it's easy just sometimes I can't really tell what's going on, it's wierd." Woody responded quickly.

Betamor responded by punching Ember in the face after he had been hit in the jaw, which then was followed by the 2 attacking each other with blows to come.

While the 2 were fighting, Betamor's attacks were getting faster and stronger after a while, his green eyes turned orange for only a slight fraction, but he was getting more and more thrilled as the battle was going on.

"Perhaps it's your eyes? I am not sure how strong your eyes are Woody but I can see it perfectly fine." Jack said.

He then looked closer as he had noticed something peculiar.

"I saw it, Betamor's body is starting to tab into the fighting lust." Jack said.
