Is there a fic about an Alicorn rejecting their role?

Like, actively fighting against the idea of their role, or actively fighting against the idea that they will need to live while others die, and not just live, but live for eternity as others die.

So they decide, screw the system, and refuse duties, or try making more ponies Alicorns?

Anything like that for a fic out there any of you know of?

well, my oc's kind of like that (though its a bit of a stretch). That sounds like a super interesting story.

I can write, but have problems when I do usually. Sometimes I get too lazy n wing stories because I just have an idea but no plot-line. This would have a plot-line I would actually be able to do but I am not sure I could make the long-term character interactions interesting. If I just go for a realism thing its already got its high conflict, so it might write itself in some ways.
