StoryTail 103 August 28, 2017 Share August 28, 2017 (edited) This game is sort of based on the corrupted wish forum game, as well as three word story games. But I also got inspired from watching the anime, In Another World with My Smartphone, which is probably one of the most anti-climatic animes I've ever seen! The rules are like this! You come up with a dramatic plot, or turn of events, in a story. The next person comes in and gives a very anti-climatic conclusion to the problem and adds their own dramatic plot for the next person to conclude very anti-climatically. Example: Person 1: There once was a great and prosperous kingdom, with a very wise king, that was the most beautiful kingdom to behold in all of Equestria. The kingdom was called Hoovalon! The citizens were all wise and educated, valuing knowledge above all! Brute strength, they argued, could rarely beat wit. This conviction for knowledge would soon be tested as a great, large, and powerful dragon came to fly over the kingdom! Person 2: Thankfully, the dragon was just passing through, so the citizens could live another day and breathe a sign of relief. Hoovalon was doing very well for itself! No one hungered, no one thirst... They had all the wants and needs they could possibly have fulfilled! However, a terrible drought soon plagued the kingdom and the citizens could no longer draw water from their wells and water pumps... Person 3: It's a good thing that the citizens were aware and planned for the oncoming drought! They had conserved and stored water in their homes, which was enough to last the whole drought season. Later, that terrible dragon came back, and it was getting ready to breathe fire upon the kingdom! Person 4: Turns out, he had a bad cold and had to return to his cavern. The citizens rejoiced! As the citizens resumed their everyday lives, a great evil was stirring deep within the city alleys.... That evil was Malicious Hoof and she was prepared to get her revenge on the royal court for throwing her out as court wizard! And hopefully, you get the point from there! I'll start! Once upon a time, a long time ago in Equestria, when Canterlot was being built, the citizens grew in dismay for they had no king! "Who will make sure that our kingdom is governed and enforce the law?!" They cried! That answer came from an unexpected, young filly, named Arthur Penhoof... Denim&Venöm 19,057 August 28, 2017 Share August 28, 2017 Who's death at the hooves of king sombra after invading griffonstone when it entered economic collapse as a result of their king no longer being recognized cause a piece of golden mcguffen was stolen by an abomination, showed that maybe it wasn't a good idea to endow one pony complete governing power over the state. So proto-Equestrians thought long and hard about what form of governance would best suit their needs as a prospering nation state. But they had to think quickly, for from the frozen wastes came a new threat, an ambitious conqueror known to the Germane-ic ponies as 'The lion from the north'.... 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He was a very nice stallion and wished the citizens the best of luck in finding their preferred form of government. And so, the Canterlot citizens scrambled to find their form of government! They decided that instead of having a single king to rule them, it'd be best to have two kings! And so, they elect two ponies who have proven their worth and bravery. Those brave ponies were Queen Sunburst Star and Queen Moonlight Shimmer. However, little did they know that Queen Sunburst Star had very evil intentions... SparklingSquirrels 21,345 August 28, 2017 Share August 28, 2017 Fortunately Queen Moonlight Shimmer heard of the idea, and she was able to quell Sunburst Star's plans by giving her an ice cream sandwich. Happy with her new treat, Sunburst forgot all about Equestria-domination. And so these two ponies started to rule, and the Canterlot citizens were content with their ways. Life went on as normal for a little while, until one day, exactly three months later, Moonlight Shimmer was declared missing! Neither Sunburst nor any of the royal guards nor any of the citizens had seen her.
