Spike vs bounty hunters

So I saw an rp about Spike with mercenaries which went no where....but it got me thinking. What if Spike got more attention then he ever wanted. One day in Ponyville Spike along with the others are confronted by bounty hunters. Who reveal someone has put a price on him(alive onlyHow would he deal with this, how would the Mane 6 react or deal with it?

RD: Spike? (Chuckles) Spike's got a bounty hunter? Congrats!

If the way he reacted to learning that he was worshipped as a hero in the Crystal Empire is any indication, then having a bounty on his head would probably inflate his ego.  He wouldn't need to ask the other Mane 6 to protect him, but he would still belittle them and treat them like disposable body guards while he continued to inflate his ego by making public appearances.

I don't know, having a price on your head is a little different then hero worshiping. Plus he seemed to learn his lesson, as in Season 6 he basically told Starlight that what he did was not a big deal. I think he learned to be humble.

 

and having a bounty is pretty bad.

For some reason I feel he would have a panic attack.
