Looking for: Any "rational" style Equesria Girls fics out there?

I wanted to know if anybody had written / knew of a "Harry Potter and the methods of rationality" style treatment of Equestria Girls (specifically the movies, I have not seen the series itself yet).

You know, answering such questions as where does Sunset Shimmer live, or why she's the only one without a duplicate.

Haven't read non pony/EG fics, so I need to know what kind of fic methods of rationality is. I've read some EG fics, so I may know one of such style

In other words, a look at the premise of the story from the viewpoint of everyone being sane and rational, with no one holding the idiot ball.

 

This does not mean no bad judgments, or bad decisions.
