Ruby Redheart and the reptilian riddles solved through her recruit

Back in 2016, a book was released called “MLP the Dragons of Dazzle Island”, which featured Spike and Fluttershy going off to an island to gather gems for Rarity, but getting interrupted by the Dragon Migration and spawning season that’s taking place there. This story introduced a pony named Ruby Redheart, who is a dragon observer and expert dragon egg-hatcher (as she got her cutie mark in doing so). I think this is the one pony in all of Equestria who might be able to assist Spike with his biological heritage, and it’d be great to see reference and cameo given to her in future episodes. With her around, we might also get to discover the reasons why Celestia had Spike's egg in the first place, and even if Holder's Boulder is more than meets the eye. Even though it's a fossilized dragon egg, Ruby's powers might still be able to make it hatch. There's a lot of potential for Spike episodes with this pony around.

Let's have a sentient talking animal be a real world animal expert for other sentient talking animals. It's not like dragons can understand their own history and physiology, right? You know what sentient fantasy beings do with "animal experts"? They usually execute them for spying on their citizens.
