G1 Korean Dub

Did you know? (And I'll bet none of you did! Even I didn't know about this until recently.) There was once a South Korean dub of My Little Pony 'n Friends in 1989.

However, when it aired there, the show was most likely treated like a Japanese anime (despite being officially Western animation). As a result, they renamed all the characters, kinda like in Sailor Moon, Doraemon, and Pokemon. Even the title itself got renamed! By the looks of it, the way they did all this, it's no different from how they made the Nintendo Family Computer (NES) the Hyundai Comboy, and the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) the Super Gam (not Game)-Boy.
