If a big part of the fandom was organized murder sprees, I wouldn't take part in it. Just because it is everywhere doesn't mean you need to read it. It will be a cold day in Hell when I'm linked to a shipfic that doesn't suck. The reason why is because they all suck.

That's what is fun. The author doesn't need to spend a bunch of chapters building up who the characters are because we know them. And we know them so well they can be put in a scenario, and it's entertaining.

 

And no, they are not. They SERIOUSLY are not, please learn the lingo. People CAN clop to ship fics, but shipping is not made for fapping. You're not supposed to read this fics to fap, but for enjoyment, like any story about dating.. Clopfics are made JUST for fapping.

Rainbow Dash is an easy pony for most shippers to, well, er, ship because of her tomboyish personality. She is practically every lesbian shipper-lovers dream because of that. A lot of them like a masculine figure along with a female who plays her feminine role. That's at least what I think.

 

While I don't regard Dash as lesbian, I don't exactly mind ships of her. I don't even label it as "offensive" to call her one, more like "stereotypical." I have previously mentioned on these forums that the word "lesbian" is not offensive.
