ManaMinori 4,149 October 18, 2018 Share October 18, 2018 Can we discuss the scene of Neighsay- having been so set in his ways that the school six will learn friendship and use it against ponykind. in the beginning.....later (still being a speciesist prick) locking them in a room (at a point where they had been atteding the school long enough to become friends with each other and learn the ways of friendship), and then saying that he'd call their guardians to take them home..... ....with the friendship knowledge they'd use against Equestria.... effectively, he'd doom Equestria, single-hoofedly, himself. what if this had been the actual outcome of the season finale.....? Misty Shadow 8,201 October 18, 2018 Share October 18, 2018 What else would he have done? Erase their memories? Kill them? He's likely not well-versed in mind manipulation spells, seeing the way he went about his plans, and he clearly was never evil enough at heart to take the lives of the young. Also, the families of the Young Six threatening war to begin with weren't races of conniving sociopaths, the kind who would use "friendship power" for evil, they were warriors who simply wouldn't sit silent in the face of opposition. JH24 385 October 18, 2018 Share October 18, 2018 (edited) There was not much else he could have done. Keeping the Student 6 prisoner could spark a war with the other kingdoms. His reasoning was probably that expelling them from Equestria would either disrupt their plan and/or make it easier for Equestria to defend their borders without having to worry for sabotage from within. This scene showed that Neighsay didn't want to harm non-ponies. He was very narrow-minded though. Edited October 18, 2018 by JH24
