Fluttershy wants to be a tree- the big finale

This got me thinking back to Fluttershy very early on in the series ("Over a Barrel") having mentioned that she had always wanted to be a tree....and then got me thinking to the short scene back in "Hearts and Hooves Day", where there was a very short scene of Sweetie Belle interrupting some poor pony's funeral during her "Perfect Stallion" song. While death is a touchy subject that no one really likes talking about, it has been eluded to a number of times within the MLP series, movie, and even in the comics. So today, I'd like to discuss something no fan is obviously going to look forward to- how each of the Mane 6 and Spike will choose to go, once they pass.

 

As I said before, given Fluttershy's desire to be a tree, and her close friendship with Tree Hugger, who could likely be aiding her in selecting a future method of use of her remains after her passing, could suggest to her the "green burial" route, if Flutters hasn't come to that decision herself. It's already quite clear that she's pretty connected and surrounded by nature.

 

The question is, what do you guys think the remainder of the Mane 6 will choose? Will RD choose to be cremated and have her ashes scattered on the wind? Will Twilight donate her body to science? Will Pinkie forever remain in an urn on the Pie family's mantle?

Those guesses seem to be good choices. I think the Apple family might have either their private graveyard or a family crypt in Ponyville's public graveyard, and AJ would undoubtedly follow her family's tradition.

Besides the actual choices for each mane six member and their families, I think they would have a symbolic resting place inside of or next to the Castle of Friendship for ponies all over Equestria to travel and pay their respects to them.
