I'm curious what you think.

Well, it needs a ton of work. Death metal is one of the hardest genres to master. People think that death metal is just screaming vocals, hard guitars and rapid drums. It's more than that. Even when you're remixing an existing song into death metal, you have to take into account of how you should execute it. You have to take into the account the quality of sound and whether the song could use some extensions, in which some cases you have to do it.

Sadly in your case, it seems like you sped up the drums, added some guitar and changed the vocals. Unfortunately, for your vocals, couldn't understand a single word you were saying and this is why death metal is one of the most difficult genres to make. You have to practice getting your vocals right. You need to make sure that every word you say in your vocals is clear even when you're adding the screams.

All in all, hate to say it but you're gonna have to completely redo this track focusing on clearing everything, from guitars, to drums to vocals. I can help you get things right. I have 20 years of piano and 10 years of composition and production.

It might make more sense if it was kind of a grindcore approach, slightly as a ridicule of the genre. The whole idea of mixing death metal and MLP is rediculous, it can't be taken seriously. The vocals not being understandable was the whole point of making it death metal (and black metalish). Though, I agree that the whole production could have been a whole lot better, even if it was meant to be ridiculous. Thanks for your feedback.

p.s. are you the sort of a guardian angel of this forum? It isn't quite crowded around here and your comments are all around the place.

Np. Yes you can take things seriously even when combining MLP and death metal. Seen a guy do a metal remix of Giggle At The Ghosties and it was fire
