Thoughts on SombraXHope?

I am a huge fan of King Sombra being shipped with Radiant Hope and hope this lovely couple gets together in the Season 9 premiere, after they inevitably reform Sombra to tie everything together with the comics. Because as we all know, the comics do not take place in a parallel universe and the writers have to make sure the show is canon with the comics. What do you guys think of this pairing? Would you want the team at DhX to miss out on such a great opportunity to finally make Sope a reality?

Honestly; as much as I adored Radiant Hope as a character as well as her connection to Sombra, I really think it's close to 0% that she will play any part in this premiere; let alone the show as a whole. Some comics have either already been directly (FIENDship #3) or indirectly (Reflections, considering different Starswirl) rendered non-canon, I think that at least Radiant herself will likewise be the same.

Interesting lore such as her, Amore, and the Umbrum being erased from canon?

His complex, Darth Vader-esque character arc being retconned away to put him right back at square one as generically evil?

His abrupt 180 from an intimidating No-Nonsense Nemesis... to just another overconfident mustache-twirler?

I'm sorry, but this sounds like some Last Jedi-level disappointment (think "Jake" Skywalker and/or Snoke), IMO.
