I redesigned my OC | Which version do you think is better?

I thought it was time for me to update my flagship OC. I scaled back the amount of colors and simplified my cutie mark. 

For comparison here is the original version. On the left is OG 2015 version, aka the very first version and on the right is the 2017 "tweaked" version that I've been using until recently. The only real differences between the two are the Cutie mark and mane fill being changed from a gradient to a solid. 

Now I'd like to ask you all on MLP forums a question; Which design do you think is better? The new one, or the old one?

I like the dark blue version. The cutie mark really matches with the style and the mane is really unique!

Personally, I like the old one better. I like its color scheme better, plus I think mane style goes well with the facial hair
