Questions for a Fanfic

Hi. I want to make a deconstructed "human in Equestria" fanfic. I alrealdy have the plot planned. Yet I want to make a solid worldbuilding. So I have a few faction. Fallout style basically.

 

1- House of the Sun
2- The Children of the Night

3- The HIgh Council of Magic

4- The Grand Knights of Canterlot

5- The Royal Guard.

6- Crystal Empire.

7- The Gun Slinger Syndicate.

8- The Monster Hunter Guilt

9- Highseas Navigation department.

10- The Changeling Hive

11- The Demon Horde

 

And there is a LOT more... Ask me wich is wich first!

 

And some things I have to put:

 

1- All ponies are anthro. Horse legs with little snouts on their faces, and the horse ears are where the human´s ears are

2- The cutie marks are behind the shoulders (Like in Jojo´s with the Joestar birthmark)

3- Twilight is not a Princess.

Where does this take place in the FiM time-line?

Is there an overarching narrative for this world of yours?

What is the House of the Sun. Does it involve Princess Celestia?

Who are the Children of the Night? Are they related to bat-ponies?

Is there a religious organization between these groups you mentioned?

Are the grand knights of canterlot independent from the royal guard?

What is the level of technological advance in this world? Would you consider the royal guard to be at disadvantage against firearms? Who regulates the gun slinger syndicate. And do they have a monopoly on this kind of technology?

"Monster hunter guilt"? Are they a conservationist organization like green peace?

What is the role of the highseas navigation department?

What is the source of this demon horde? Do they come from Tartarus? What is their world like? Is it an anarchy there?

1- This is all made from the grown up. You could say it´s an alternative take for Equestria to fit the mature themes of my story. That are moving along from trauma, self aceptance and  may more things.

2- The House of the Sun is Indeed an religious organization, that sspins arround the Queen Celestia (just as Lauren Faust envisioned). They are mostly allies and friends, but some of the higher ranks of the organization have their fair share of skeletons on their wardrobes.

3- No, They are a cult surrounding Nightmare Moon, that thinks that Celestia was evil and a jealous of her younger and more sweet younger sister. Obviously they were misleaded, and is the job of Luna as Princess to convince this cult that everything waws a big misunderstoodment (And also, The Children of the NIght originated as a griup of orphan ponies who Luna took care of when she was young)

4- Yes and no. Yes because they act on their own and are as old as Canterlot, but no because of Shining Armor being his captain, and because the two faction tends to work as one. 

5- They have trains, Zeppelins and Air Balloons, and even radios and TV´s. But the guns are restrainted to the Southwest section of Equestria due to the Companies War. So the main factories of pistols and rifles by royal decreet are restraingted to sell their products only ont their zone. As for the Gun Slinger Syndicate is operated by a group of three stallions that run the syndicate in order to find some jobs  to the other Gun Slingers. Some Bounties, hitman jobs, etc. 

6- The basiucally are a Elite Group on Cloudsdale that is on charge of go and hunt every big monster that represents a threat to Equestria. Dragons, Constelation creatures, Sea Monsters, etc.

7- They are in charge of the general Sea Trading. Delivering all kind of resources arround Equestria and even some from foreign lands. Facing all the dangers that represents those Journes. Storms, Sea Monsters, the Hypogryfs, Viking Assaults, etc.

8- They are basically a bunch of war mongering demons from Tartarus that Tirek used to lead. But since he is gone, all of them devolved to mindless beasts capable of destroying mountains by ther most powerfull pounches.

Those are some insteresting lessons right there.

It doesn't surprise me that some type of religion would be formed around an extraordinary being such as Celestia. Especially during the times education was less common. Also, corruption and power are like family. And that part about Luna and the orphans is very sweet.

Ah, yeah. Shinning Armor. He is one of my favourites.

It is interesting that the monster guild would put dragons with other mindless beasts.

Thanks! Basically Shining Armor is the Youngest member of the Knights (three at the moment, since it´s more easy to be a Knight than to be a Royal Guard) wich are Fleur de Lis, and a Fan Character called Silver Fang. A dwarf staillion in the middle age that is able to swing two big axes.
